  • Allrestore Contracting
Jim is a very professional and informative about products. He was very understanding about our needs and concerns as the work performed by another contractor was very poor and would not come back to do repairs. Jim returned all text email and messages in a timely manner. Would hire again. Great job…

Excellent job, very responsive. Requested a very specific type of shingle on a very steep roof. Have been receiving many compliments on the completed roof job.

  • On-Site Builders Inc
The bid submitted by On-Site Builders was competitive with 2 other bids received. What set On-Site Builders apart from its competitors was the service provided by principals Gary Stringer and James Cook. From the initial consultation and review of the renovation requirements, through the bidding, award, and execution, they proved to be highly communicative; flexible; innovative; and exceptionally competent. They kept the project on track and on-budget while owners were absent. Options to resolve hidden flaws in the original construction of the home were quickly evaluated and communicated for cost, schedule impact, and esthetics. Overall, very pleased with the performance of On-Site Builders. Not being on-site, we needed to be able to trust in the capabilities and judgement of Gary and James. And our faith in them was well justified

  • Jimmy's Coating Unlimited Inc
I am extremely pleased with the finished job. Very professional, started the job when he said he would, very neat, walls and ceiling is beautiful. Finished the job 3 days ahead of schedule. I recommend would recommend him to anyone and would definitely call on him again!

  • Penar Improvements
Exceptionally well. We were concerned that sanding the textured paint off the walls would create a huge dust mess to clean up however the sander was attached to a large vacuum and the dust issue was 95% mitigated and easily wiped away. Physical install of the pocket door, framing went well and door looks and works perfectly giving privacy to 2nd and 3rd bedrooms and 2nd bath without the original swing door intrusion. Highly recommend Penar Improvements, Also be prepared to discuss the project and requirements with Mr. Penar, he knows his business and will gladly share constructive suggestions on how to complete the job with the best final result

  • Robert Rosen Painting and Remodeling
I moved to SC 5 yrs ago and quickly learned hiring workers does not mean they will show up or call. Robert calls and shows up. This is the second time I have hired him and he did a great job. His prices are above average.

Darryl did outstanding work. He was prompt, punctual, and attentive to detail. He worked efficiently, making sure he understood what our needs were and making sure that he had addressed all our concerns when he had finished. His pricing was fair and reasonable.

  • Allrestore Contracting
Jim was easy to work with, wrote a clear estimate, and explained the job well. His carpenter, Paul, who did the repairs was friendly, respectful, and did beautiful work. The price was fair, and even less than I thought it would be. I highly recommend them!

  • Teeters Windows & Remodeling
I replaced 10 vinyl claded wood casement windows with vinyl casement windows maufactured by Simonton. Brian Teeters, owner of Teeters Construction spent several hours over several visits in helping me decide on which manufacturer to use. I had spent several years researching windows and had many installers at my home. Most were at my house giving their pitch. Brian Teeters could explain most manufacturers window construction and detail pros and cons of each. So, he was a valuable resource in me being able to make a decision. His installation person has been in the business 30 years and when he arrived to install, he found that my wood windows did not have removable stops in the frame. The stops on the wood frame was mortared into one peice, so he had to cut the windows out to the two by four framing and reframed my vinyl replacement window to fit. Both the installer and Brian Teeters missed this fact when they measured my windows for ordering. They told me they had never seen a one piece wood window before. There wasn't any increase price to me even though it cost more to install my windows. The installation was done professionally with efficiency and the quality of work was top notch. My new windows look great. However, the vinyl casement window supplied by Simonton did not open and close properly. They have a new hardware design which the installer was not familiar with. Simonton came out to my home within days with a technician who adjusted every window until they all worked properly. Only time will tell if my new windows will work properly and without any further adjustments. I hope I have no further problems but if I do, I have no concerns that my contractor, Teeters Construction, will step up to the plate with Simonton and get any problems resolved. The only negative thing I will say is that Brian is sometimes hard to contact. Phone calls do not get returned in a timely matter. There needs to be better communication within his office or the owner needs to delegate some authority to his staff so his clients phone calls are returned by someone
