"The employees that do the roofing are very hard & good workers. They would show up on time and finished the work as scheduled. Every day before they left the debris was picked up and taken away. "Steve, the owner is very professional, friendly, and very reasonable price wise. He installed gutter guards on our roof. He was punctual, picked up and carried away the trash when he was finushed, and did a great job. I expect to hire him back in the fall to clean the pine needles and leaves off my roif next fall."

"My husband and I moved into a home last fall here in Murrells Inlet. There are many windows which is great, but would have been a lot for us to clean. We contacted Window Genie. They did all of our windows inside and out as well as the screens in about two and a half hours. Alicia, Jake and Richard were the cleaners. They were terrific! They were professional, thorough, and left our home in the manner in which they found it. We were very pleased and will look to have them back again next year."

The lifespan of a torch down roof depends on the number of layers installed. A single-ply system typically lasts between 10 and 15 years, while a multi-layer system with two or three layers can last from 15 to 25 years. Although a multi-layer option may be more expensive upfront, it provides a longer service life. Warranties often reflect this, with about 12 years for a one-ply system and 15 years for a two-ply system. For context, this lifespan is shorter than other common roofing materials like wood or asphalt shingles, which typically last 20 to 30 years, with high-quality versions lasting up to 50 years.

The four types of roof sheathing are plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), planks, and tone-and-groove boards. The overwhelming majority of homes use the first two (especially OSB) and the other two are not often seen outside of special use cases. Methods of sheathing include solid sheathing, open sheathing where there are gaps, and plank sheathing. Most roofs are solid sheathing.
