In fact, he was talking to me about redoing all of our pipes with him. So, I would say he’s the best one. A pipe had broken while we were on vacation, we called him when we got back from vacation. His zip code was 29643, and I was surprised that he would come all that way and he did. The guy was great. Price was excellent, but I have nothing to compare it to though. I thought the price was excellent, I’ve had things done in businesses in plumbing, so I’m familiar with that and I thought it was very reasonable, very fair, beyond fair. Especially with the drive there too. I just hope a lot of people don’t call him in case I need him again. He was excellent, very good."

They worked with us on installing an interior french/foundation drain around half of our basement into an existing, outside sump pump and did not try to oversell us on adding a second sump pump (as other companies did). Their crew were all polite, efficient and hard workers and left the area clean and finished off in a professional manner. For years, every time there was sustained rain we would have water seeping into our basement. Since their installation, we have had sustained rain a number of times and the foundation drain has worked very well. No more water in the basement. I would highly recommend them."

"Ethical Plumbing was exactly what I was needing for this project. It was too much for me to handle by myself, but I couldn't afford to completely hire the work done. Dan worked with me coming out to my house many times before even starting work to offer advice on things I could do before he arrived to save me money. For example, I needed to have some concrete cut out and removed. He met with me and explained that while they could do that, I could save a lot of money by doing that myself (which I was happy to do.). Once the concrete was removed, he stepped in and reworked the old drain system to relocate the bathroom. He replaced some old cast iron drain with PVC in order to do this. He was always thoughtful about the process and included us in the decision making that came up as things changed. He was always willing to answer questions and accommodating of our changes in plans. In the end, we ended up reworking quite a bit of existing plumbing to gain more headroom and generally improve things. He also installed a bathtub, washer hookup, and replaced an outside faucet for me. I would highly recommend Ethical Plumbing without reservation to my friends and co-workers."

The professional grade pipe snake Scott and his son ran down the effected drain line broke away the remaining obstruction in only a few minutes. "Mr. Gomez came to inspect our issue the day after I called. He appeared on time, inspected the area, took measurements, and recommended an inside French drain around three perimeters of our house--about 130 feet. He was very personable and took time to answer all of our questions. He buried one gutter downspout and tied it into the sump pump drain line extending it out an extra 40 feet from the house. We also requested he bury a 2nd downspout and extend it 50 feet from the house. A driveway drain in front of a garage door on the 4th side of the house was also added. He and his men arrived as promised and completed the job in 3 days. They prepared the area by wrapping all furniture, etc. in plastic before starting work. Concrete floors were also covered in plastic. The first day jack hammers rocked the house as they used them to chip up a foot wide channel in the concrete to make room for laying the Waterguard system. After the first day, all other work was quiet and quick. They were able to bury the drain lines outside and replace grass so that no evidence of any digging is even apparent without close inspection--amazing!!! Everything was completely cleaned up inside afterwards with no need to even vacuum. We consulted 5 companies before contracting with Uneven Floors. Not only was the system he installed comparable to what the others recommended, but was several thousand dollars cheaper. We have not had a hard rain to test the system, but water poured into the installed channel went to the sump pump so I would be highly surprised if it doesn't work as promised. As others have indicated in reviews, Mr. Gomez is very quick to respond to calls and emails. I would highly recommend this company."
