"In April we had our fence installed (previius 5☆ Review provided). Today, 13 June, Joe came out and did the sealing of the fence. There was a bit of a delay on this, which could've been on me since, I don't recall if staining/ sealing was offered at that time or not. Regardless, there would've still been a required wait time for the "drying" process before it could be applied. Then because it wasn't purchased until May, and where that put us in the queue, we were delayed due to getting more rain than usual for this time of year. After talking with Joe, he confirmed where we were (next job to be done) and was waiting for weather to cooperate, so we would get a proper job that supported the fence warranty. Job is complete and looks great! He also replaced a couple of boards we had issues with splitting during the "drying" process. I would recommend Premier Fence and Stain to anyone seeking to have a fence done."

"Great experience overall. Powell & Moores did the fence at my house and everything went smoothly. The crew showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and the finished fence looks solid and well done. Easy to work with and would recommend them if you need fencing work."

Small jobs welcome

"Rodrigo with GABA Contractors completed our kitchen, laundry room, & powder room renovation last year and did an excellent job. The project consisted of demo, new drywall/paint, tile/LVT flooring, trim, wood paneling, misc. electrical work. It was completed on schedule and within our budget. The quality of the work and dedication to meeting our needs was top notch. Highly recommend Rodrigo and we plan to do more work with him in the future!"

"Give Mynor a tryâ  -you wonâ  t be disappointed. He is a professional who does what he says he will do and gets it done when he said. He did our cabinet install and it was done professionallyâ  we are more than pleased with the results. We have seen other work Mynor has doneâ  -both interior and exterior projects. His fence installs are done quickly and seem better built than his competitors. He has remodeled a number of kitchens in our neighborhood and they are better and more â  finishedâ  than the builder install. He shows a lot of attention to detail on all his work. When he works with Sheetrock-either installing or replacing you canâ  t tell where the old and new Sheetrock begins/ends. Mynor has a lot of contracting experience and his professionalism and work ethic is obvious. We would be comfortable using him for any remodeling or additions to our home in the future. His pricing is competitive and you will be pleased with the results."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

In Easley, successful fencing projects combine moisture-resistant materials for durability with styles that fit neighborhood aesthetics. Many homeowners choose privacy fences with lattice tops or blend wood and metal for both strength and curb appeal. It’s important to follow local height limits, coordinate with neighbors on shared boundaries, and design for proper drainage to withstand Easley’s frequent rain and clay soil movement.

Helpful?

In Easley, backyard perimeter fencing is most susceptible to issues due to heavy rainfall, clay soil shifting, and humidity that accelerates wood rot or metal corrosion. Pool fencing requires frequent checks for safety compliance and mildew. Side yard fences often face damage from invasive kudzu or tree roots, while front yard sections may fade from sun exposure or get hit by lawn equipment—unique challenges common in Easley neighborhoods.

Helpful?

After a fencing project in Easley, promptly apply a weatherproof sealant to protect against humidity. Ensure posts have proper drainage to prevent shifting in clay soil. Take photos of the finished fence for documentation. Throughout the year, inspect for termite damage, clean away debris, and lubricate gate hardware. Annual professional inspections are especially important for pool fencing to maintain safety and meet local requirements.

Helpful?

In Easley, cosmetic fencing projects prioritize curb appeal, often using decorative vinyl or stained wood to complement local architecture and HOA guidelines. Functional fencing focuses on privacy, security, or pet containment, typically requiring taller, wind-resistant materials. Easley’s clay soil and humid climate influence choices—moisture-resistant materials are key, especially near pools or flood-prone areas. Always check local height restrictions and neighborhood standards before starting.

Helpful?

In Easley, watch for leaning or wobbly posts—often caused by shifting clay soil—soft, splintering wood, or rust spots on metal. Sagging gates and rapid vine or kudzu growth can signal deeper problems. Early signs like discoloration or loose fasteners can quickly worsen in Easley’s humid climate, so addressing these promptly helps prevent major repairs and keeps your fence secure.
