While they were at it, they also fixed a leaky toilet and helped me set up a drain on a new sink--at no extra charge. It turned out to be a much bigger job than we had anticipated (they had to rip up concrete in the floor and drywall to get at the problem), but they stayed at it until it was done, often working late into the evening. These guys are honest, competent, hard-working, and they were really good at keeping me up to date on the progress of their work. Our new go-to plumbing crew!"

"Ethical Plumbing was exactly what I was needing for this project. It was too much for me to handle by myself, but I couldn't afford to completely hire the work done. Dan worked with me coming out to my house many times before even starting work to offer advice on things I could do before he arrived to save me money. For example, I needed to have some concrete cut out and removed. He met with me and explained that while they could do that, I could save a lot of money by doing that myself (which I was happy to do.). Once the concrete was removed, he stepped in and reworked the old drain system to relocate the bathroom. He replaced some old cast iron drain with PVC in order to do this. He was always thoughtful about the process and included us in the decision making that came up as things changed. He was always willing to answer questions and accommodating of our changes in plans. In the end, we ended up reworking quite a bit of existing plumbing to gain more headroom and generally improve things. He also installed a bathtub, washer hookup, and replaced an outside faucet for me. I would highly recommend Ethical Plumbing without reservation to my friends and co-workers."

"Mr. Gomez came to inspect our issue the day after I called. He appeared on time, inspected the area, took measurements, and recommended an inside French drain around three perimeters of our house--about 130 feet. He was very personable and took time to answer all of our questions. He buried one gutter downspout and tied it into the sump pump drain line extending it out an extra 40 feet from the house. We also requested he bury a 2nd downspout and extend it 50 feet from the house. A driveway drain in front of a garage door on the 4th side of the house was also added. He and his men arrived as promised and completed the job in 3 days. They prepared the area by wrapping all furniture, etc. in plastic before starting work. Concrete floors were also covered in plastic. The first day jack hammers rocked the house as they used them to chip up a foot wide channel in the concrete to make room for laying the Waterguard system. After the first day, all other work was quiet and quick. They were able to bury the drain lines outside and replace grass so that no evidence of any digging is even apparent without close inspection--amazing!!! Everything was completely cleaned up inside afterwards with no need to even vacuum. We consulted 5 companies before contracting with Uneven Floors. Not only was the system he installed comparable to what the others recommended, but was several thousand dollars cheaper. We have not had a hard rain to test the system, but water poured into the installed channel went to the sump pump so I would be highly surprised if it doesn't work as promised. As others have indicated in reviews, Mr. Gomez is very quick to respond to calls and emails. I would highly recommend this company."

"I live in a condo built in the early 80's where the HVAC system and the water heater share a small utility closet. They also share the same floor drain. Installation went very well except for a part of the line left open which dripped water onto the floor. The line left open was letting condensate from the HVAC drip onto the floor, which of course was not acceptable to the home inspector when he came for my home sale inspection. I called Ace Plumbing and Justin came out to look at the problem. He was extremely nice and explained everything to me. He came up with a solution for the problem and scheduled the repair. I did knock of half a point off on work quality due to the fact I asked about the part which was left open causing an issue, and I was told it would not. Overall, I feel very comfortable using this company for any future plumbing needs especially since I know that if there are any issues they will make it right."
