"Scheduled an appointment to arrive within two hours, with my OK to arrive earlier if possible. Plumber Mike Miller made it an hour early, diagnosed the problem and snaked the clog through the clean out. He checked his work and left no mess. Completely satisfied."

"Bobby was very helpful. He removed our leaking water heater from the attic, put in a new one and hooked it up. He cleaned up any mess and was quick and efficient. We will be calling him again to do some faucet installations and I remembered I should add him to Angie's List. I'm very pleased with his work.

"It went very well.   Their communication was swift and clear.   They performed the service while we were away in NYC and when we got back we had the inspection receipt and a copy of the report they sent to the water company.
This transaction couldn't have been easier and I feel that I got more than my money's worth.  Simple, easy, and I didn't even have to be home.
I highly recommend Bessinger's Backflow Service without reservations and I will continue to use them.
Sincerely,
Kyle

"During December Mel did our HVAC maintenance, diagnosed the need for and installed a new condensate pump for our downstairs system and added a UVC germicidal system for our new upstairs HVAC system. We always request Mel for his expertise, knowledge and willingness to explain, and he always does an excellent job. We also had a new upstairs HVAC that was installed by Robbie and John and subsequent duct cleaning and disinfecting by Thomas. They all did an excellent job and were good and patient at explaining, answering questions and cleaning up the work area."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

To unclog the drain pipe, remove the machine's drain hose from the pipe or sink drain, being careful to contain any water in it. Next, use a plunger for sink drains or a plumbing snake for a wall drain. Test the repair by pouring a small amount of water into the pipe before trying it with a laundry load.

If your drain line is clogged, your AC might stop cooling, shut down, or refuse to turn on at all. Otherwise, you might see your AC leaking water, find standing water or water damage near the unit, or notice a musty smell coming out of your air conditioner or vents.

No. You should never pour old paint down a drain or sewer because it can clog pipes and pollute the environment. You must dispose of paint properly and safely. Different types of paint need to be disposed of in different ways—oil-based paints must be taken to a paint recycling center, while you can throw dried-out water- or latex-based paints in the garbage.

Yes, sewage smells can originate from a floor drain. If the P-Trap in the floor drain dries out or if there's a clog or other issue in the plumbing system, sewer gasses can escape through the drain, causing nasty odors. Regularly pouring water into the drain helps maintain the water seal and prevent those smells, but if the smell persists, you should have a plumbing professional inspect the drain for potential problems.

While technically possible, it is unlikely that a clogged toilet will fix itself. Clogs caused by water-soluble materials like toilet paper or human waste may eventually break down in the water, allowing flow to resume. However, this can take time, and any clogs from solid objects require manual removal. In most scenarios, especially if you don't have another bathroom, it is best to fix the clog yourself or call a plumber.
