"This is a follow up review. It is not very often that a small business owner takes customer satisfaction as seriously as Drew and Jessica. When we had some issues with the older less reliable lighting programing software, Drew upgraded us at the cost of the new hardware and did not charge us a cent for the labor involved. The new Lutron system has been exceptional and it is helping us both, Envision and my budget, save money since it is rock solid. Envison Outdoor Lighting understands what real customer satisfaction means and I totally, unequivocally, recommend them for ANY installation in Central NJ and Eastern PA !!!. They are trustworthy, fair and honest and represent all that can be right with small business entrepreneurs in the U.S. in 2025! John DeBlase / Retired Global Customer Support Manager / Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies. I do know a thing or two about Customer Satisfaction !!!"

"We received three quotes. One was for $14K, Plymouth's at $16K, and one who wouldn't provide me a design unless I paid $500 and they estimated total cost would be in the $30k range. We chose John and Plymouth Nursery as we liked the design plan and the attention John gave in showing us all the plants and working with us on the design. Also, a few homes in our neighborhood used the first company and although they look nice, I wasn't crazy about the designs, and wanted more mature plants and trees. Plymouth completed a landscape design for another home in our neighborhood and I liked what they did. Plymouth is an actual Nursery so you get to go to the nursery and view the actual plants that will be planted. This was great so we could see the quality of the plants and get a better visualization of what the end design would look like. John and his team were great to work with every step of the way. They showed up when they said they would and John stopped by everyday to monitor progress and make sure things were completed to plan. Before plants were planted, they were all placed in position so we had the opportunity to make some changes, which weren't many. Overall project took about a week and a half to finish which included some weather delays. We also needed to add electrical outlets outside to support lighting package. We used John's recommended electrician who completed the work as we discussed and at a fair price. Our house looks beautiful and we have received so many compliments. I can't wait to see the plants bloom in the spring and I get a smile on my face when I drive up to my house at night and see how the lighting highlights everything so beautifully. I would not hesitate in recommending John and Plymouth Nursery!"

"Everything went better than expected. Everyone on the street complimented me on how my lights looked and I even had cars stopping by out front just to get a good look at the house. Perfect service for a busy family or big holiday party. I will definitely be getting them again next year!!!"

"They were awesome. Turns out they do more than electrical work which was great for me because I had a lot of smaller projects that needed to be done as well. They responded to my request minutes after clicking the submit button on the service magic site."

"I hired DiGregorio Electric for a large recessed lighting installation project. They quickly gave a fair quote, were able to rapidly schedule installation, and did an absolutely fantastic job on the project. I look forward to working with them again in the future."

"Needed emergency service after I replaced a bathroom light and fan switch. In replacing the switch I noticed that the breaker listed for that switch in the panel did not turn off the power to the switch. I shut the main breaker but could not get it to go on again. Called RJ Little and Rich was out on Saturday morning of Thanksgiving Weekend within 45 minutes. He replaced the main breaker and when he checked the bathroom switch he explained that the previous electrician had set up two power sources to that switch with two different breakers in the electrical panel. Rich rewired the switch. He also noticed that the whole house surge protector that I had installed years ago was not installed properly and I should consider a better unit. He came out quickly as we were without heat and electric and he was very professional. I will definitely use him again and would highly recommend him."

Lighting questions, answered by experts

The cost to repair a short circuit depends on the type of repair. A faulty outlet or simple loose wire can be a simple fix that might only cost a handful of dollars. For example, if you need to rewire a house, you’ll spend around $2 to $4 per square foot, but replacing an entire electrical panel costs anywhere from $500 to $2,100.

The cost to repair outdoor lighting typically ranges from $100 to $400. The final price depends on the severity of the damage, the specific issue, the type of lighting system, and the parts needed. Some repairs are priced per fixture, averaging $100 to $300, and there may be additional fees if the lighting is difficult to access.

Yes! As a matter of fact, there are many sensors that add motion to existing outdoor lights. These motion sensors attach to pre-existing flood lights and other outdoor lights without any fussy and potentially dangerous electrical work. Additionally, some flood lights and related fixtures ship with motion sensors built-in.

There are tons of different types of landscape lighting available, including the choice between solar and wired, incandescent and LED, and a variety of colors. Specific types of lighting include:

  • Pathway lights: $50–$150 per fixture

  • String lights: $50–$150

  • Low-voltage lights: $90–$150 per fixture

  • Porch lights: $65–$250 per fixture

  • Floodlights: $75–$250 per fixture

  • Downlights: $100–$400 per fixture

  • Uplights: $100–$400 per fixture

  • Security lights: $ 350–$500 per fixture

  • Lamp posts: $400–$1,100 per lamp post

Replacing a pool light costs about $625 per light. If you only need to replace the light bulb, plan on paying about $20 to $100 per light. The largest cost factors include the type of pool light, the number of pool lights needed, and the labor costs in your location. But additional cost factors include work required on existing wiring, other repairs, and the continual maintenance needed to keep your pool light in good working condition after installation.
