"My wife and I have dealt with quite a few different landscapers over the years, and while most are have been competent, their bench strength is not always deep. Once you get past the estimator/owner, the skills of the rest of the team drops off considerably. We have found that, at the end of the day, successful projects and happy customers are the result of having a strong team end-to-end. Our latest project involved removal of some of our existing landscape plants, and replacing them with more appealing plants, as well as the addition of some landscape lighting, and mulching. We called Pierce L. Shallis Landscaping (found via Angies list) and scheduled an appointment. When we first met with Pierce L. Shallis to discuss our project, we were very impressed with him. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. As things progressed, we became acquainted with the rest of the Shallis team: Cody was very good to work with in reviewing and mangaging the lighting package as well as the overall project execution. Heather and Barbie provided excellent and courteous front office support, communications and coordination. Both Pierce and Cody were present on the day the project was completed and were able to quickly answer any questions or concerns The install team was friendly, courteous, hard working, and meticulous. "We had Frank replace a chandelier in the kitchen, replace dimmer switches in our living room, install ceiling fans with lights and corresponding light switches in 4 upstairs bedrooms as well as recess lights in our master. He also installed an additional outlet for a bidet in the bathroom. He and Dave were great to work with, Dave provided quotes in advance and they were reasonably priced. Frank also helped guide our decision on some of the work and was very honest about what would and would not work in our bedrooms—even if it generated less revenue for him. We will definitely hire them again!"

"Our outside light fixture would cause a new 10 year CFL or LED bulb to burnout. This happened with several new bulbs and we thought this might be a sign of a short or other wiring problems. We called Farryn Electric and the office scheduler, Shelly, was very helpful in expending a service visit. They sent out 2 electricians who promptly concluded that the CFL and LED light bulbs were not compatible with our fixture which had dimmer, timing and dawn to dusk features. They reset the fixture as it had been left by a prior owner in a "test" setting. They were very friendly and understanding considering the the problem was caused by our use of the wrong type of light bulbs. Shelly called later that day and said there would be no charge for the visit which we felt was very generous of them. We had never used Farryn before this as they were recommended by a neighbor.
