"A1 Handyman & Plumbing Services saved my house. I moved into a home built in 1925 and after three months noticed an open, leaking pipe in the basement ceiling. The inspector had failed to see this issue and the previous owners did not disclose it. "AJ had come to our house a few years ago for the estimate on the crawlspace. We also had one other company out for an estimate at that time. After meeting AJ we knew we would hire him because he also walked around our yard with us to suggest improvements with yard grading and other suggestions to keep water out. He was also upfront about the cost and work to be done. He didn't try to sell us on any gimmicks or anything we didn't need. AJ stands behind his work and is very knowledgeable and experienced. We did not go ahead with the project after the original estimate because we decided to put that project on hold. We needed to attend to our leaky roof and other home projects. AJs workers sealed off the areas in our basement where they were working and when they were done everything was cleaned up as if they were never there! AJs team removed several inches of dirt, stones and debris from the crawlspace floor. A French drain with a sump pump was installed and the walls of crawlspace were done over with concrete of AJs particular waterproofing blend. Additionally, hangers were installed on a sewage pipe which ran though the crawlspace. This was done because the pipe was supported by concrete blocks which needed to be removed in order to install the french drain. Now the crawlspace is in absolutely wonderful condition and Ill have piece of mind every time it rains. I can highly recommend AJ waterproofing."
