"Matt and Ronny arrived right on time. Matt called first, 20 minutes ahead of their arrival as we had requested. Matt is the owner of the company, and he and I went over the details of the job to be sure that we were both on the same page. Matt left, and Ronny started to work right away. He carefully covered the floor and all exposed furniture and other items. Ronny then used Frog tape to mask the baseboard and other areas. I was impressed by this minor detail because I know that Frog tape is significantly more expensive than the standard blue painter's tape. Less than 45 minutes after his arrival, Ronny was painting.
I have done my share of painting over the years, and for me, the hardest part of the job is cutting in. Ronny did this freehand, no masking tape, and he did a near flawless job. Again, I was impressed. Soon he was rolling the ceiling, and then the walls. Everything received two coats of paint. When he was finished, Ronny cleaned up everything, put all debris neatly into a trash bag, and left the work area as clean as when he arrived.
At the end of the day, Matt called to make sure that we were satisfied with the work. I told him that both my wife and I were honestly thrilled with our newly painted family room and he could expect more work from us in the future. "Pat and his team were, by and large, fantastic. They executed on all aspects of the original quote flawlessly. The ribbon pointing around the stonework, especially in the front part of the house, turned out very nice. We're extremely happy with how the masonry looks. It went so smoothly, we added additional work onto the quote to seal the concrete and touch up paint along the exterior of the house. The painting wasn't as neat or clean as it could have been - it's probably a little step above what I could have done. Mostly importantly, when we encountered a couple of problems along the way, they were responsive and went above and beyond to sort it out. I think they approached the whole project very well, and even worked with us on the price for the add-ons. All-in-all, super solid work from a super solid contractor. Highly recommended."
