"From start to finish, we could not be happier with choosing Paradigm. Our basement needed a lot of work-- waterproofing, new sewer pipe, and new water heater with power vent. Andy and Ross took the time to answer our many questions prior to starting the work. Their whole team was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. You won't find better customer service!"

"I called Thursday afternoon and had a tentative, next-day time window of 9:30 -11:30 immediately. The time window was confirmed right after I texted Mr. Nagle a photograph of the tub spout. He was here at 9:30. He fixed the spout and pipe quickly. Mr. Nagle is professional, personable, explains what he does clearly, cleans up, charges a reasonable amount, and, as my dad would say, he hustles. I will certainly be hiring him again."

"I was in need of a new water heater. When I posted looking for an installer I was contacted very promptly. During the conversation we discussed type of heater I would need and was quoted a very reasonable price . My appointment was set up with my choice of day and time and installer arrived at expected time. All work was neatly done and old heater was removed. I would certainly recommend 1-800-Plumber+Air"

"Mike and his team were very knowledgeable, respectful, communicative and reliable. We recently moved into a house built in 1952 and never had to deal with the stress of a wet basement before. After Mike explained why my basement was leaking, it all made sense! They installed a French drain system in one day. I can now breathe easy and not stress out every time it rains! Looking forward to finishing the basement and having a gym! Thank you!"

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

A professional drain cleaner is a plumber or specialized drain cleaner with the necessary tools to unclog drains and tiles to keep waste water flowing out to the septic tank or city sewer for processing. Keeping wastewater from backing up into your home helps keep you and your family safe from potential contamination and sickness. These pros can help resolve nearly any drain situation in a safe and efficient manner.

Yes, continuing to flush a clogged toilet is not likely to break up the clog. Instead, it will continue to put pressure on the clog while filling the bowl with more water, which can potentially cause the toilet to overflow—leading to an even bigger mess. Rather than repeatedly flushing, use a toilet plunger or plumber’s snake to dislodge the clog.

Your garbage disposal is not draining because it might have a clog due to food waste, a foreign object, grease, oil, fat, or it may have a broken motor. When water doesn't flush out of the disposal, that's a key sign that your disposal has a clog or needs repair.

Once you’ve poured the baking soda and vinegar into a drain, you should wait about 10 minutes for the mixture to break down the clog. If you try the baking soda and vinegar method and it doesn't work, you can do it again or try the baking soda and salt trick.

For disposal clogs with standing water, use a sink plunger and place it over the garbage disposal drain. Push the sink plunger up and down the drain about six to eight times before lifting. If the sink drains, the clogged food particles are dislodged from the drain. If there’s still standing water, repeat the steps until the standing water clears out.
