Brandon did an amazing job! From the minute I spoke with him on the phone, I knew I had a seasoned professional. He understood right away what the issue was and was at my house in under 24 hours - problem solved! And very reasonable pricing as well. It was easy to schedule an appointment. Brandon confirmed the day before and arrived on time. He did not have the part with him, but got it and returned quickly and fixed the problem. He also answered some other questions I had about repairs.

A1 Handyman & Plumbing Services saved my house. I moved into a home built in 1925 and after three months noticed an open, leaking pipe in the basement ceiling. Water was pouring out of it, to provide a more accurate description. Sean from A1 came to the house. He investigated the leaking pipe further and discovered not only serious plumbing issues (multiple pipes connected to the same main drainage pipe) but also an abandoned oil tank was hidden behind the drywall; the consequences of neglect and thriftiness from the previous owners. The huge tank made it impossible to reroute the pipes properly. Sean removed the oil tank, ripped up the subfloor, and reorganized the pipes correctly. The inspector had failed to see this issue and the previous owners did not disclose it. Sean's honesty and professionalism was a blessing and a nice change of a pace from my homeowning experience to date. He's a plumbing guru as far as I'm concerned, not to mention a gifted problem solver. I've hired him again for a different issue and will continue to do so when needed in the future.

Brandon was extremely helpful and professional, and was able to come with less than a day's notice! I can't express how thankful I am for that, especially during the holiday season. I called Thursday afternoon and had a tentative, next-day time window of 9:30 -11:30 immediately. The time window was confirmed right after I texted Mr. Nagle a photograph of the tub spout. He was here at 9:30. He fixed the spout and pipe quickly. Mr. Nagle is professional, personable, explains what he does clearly, cleans up, charges a reasonable amount, and, as my dad would say, he hustles. I will certainly be hiring him again.

It's hard to find good plumbers, and even harder to find good plumbers that are also honest and have reasonable prices, and A1 accomplishes that. I always pick up my own parts to save money, but some people I called for estimates wouldn't allow me to do that, and others seemed to be charging more for the installation to make up for the difference. Not only did A1 provide me with the location to purchase my new disposal for the best price, but they also charged a service fee flat rate for what was obviously a fairly simple job. I am now requesting estimates for other work at my home from them instead of my other companies.

Both jobs went very well. With the caulking, they explained that a leak in the shower water control valve and resulting dripping was making the shower pan and caulk wet, which meant that we had to really dry it out before the caulk could be done properly. The outdoor work was also done quickly and for a very reasonable price. They carefully inspected the areas under the roof once they got the rotted board off to make sure that rot did not extend further in.

There were about 6 things and altogether it added up to about $800. Since then I haven't called him back. I would give him an "A" for the estimate. It's just that the most important item on there, he said I didn't need it, because it was a matter of turning the shower off, I mean the diverter off. That is not the case, I tested it several times and it does need something, I don't know what. Since I had gotten the tub refinished I didn't want to have water dripping in it. I can't seem to find a plumber that wants to do that particular small job. He's one of a couple that I asked and they all said, all you have to do is turn it a certain way, but that is not the case. I have sort of put it on hold. I liked them. I liked him and the assistant, Brendon Nagle and his assistant. They are very nice and I felt they could do most things. I have to call the guy that refinished the tub, because he suggested I get this part and no other plumber seems to agree; but I know it's the case. I do not want to ruin the tub. It causes rust around the drain, the water sitting. It's complicated. I would call Brendon Nagle again, but I have to research this particular project. I thought the price was fair, but it didn't seem like a bargain to me. Even though the quality is not applicable, I would give an "A" for knowing and being jolly. They were there the next day.

Brandon arrived on time and competently replace the shower faucet in a timely manner. Asked him to price out other plumbing work that I needed done and he quickly responded with an estimate. I will definitely call him when i am ready to complete that work.

The work went well as could be expected, we had a small misunderstanding about what was quoted, but Brandon was nice enough to go over it with me and we straightened it out. They were a little late getting there the second day, but finished it ahead of schedule. I need electrical work done and would not hesitate to call on their services again. Great company, I would refer friends and family.

"This is an out right LIE. The $85 charge was to install 6 light in her kitchen which required cutting out ceramic tile that I guess she forgot to mention in her mission to make us look bad. To replace her tub faucet we would have had to cut the whole decking of the tub out do to poor work done by previous contractors that left no way to get to the faucet and she did not want to get into that much work. The doorbell she brought had a camera and where she wanted it mounted would of been looking at the persons knees and she decided not to install. So to say we "did nothing" is a lie we spend over an hour working at this women's house does she expect someone to come to her house work for over an hour and leave free of charge ? Please check any of my other reviews left by over 160 happy Angie's list customers to get an accurate description of our company. Thank you."

Disclosure: I didn't use A1 but the time he took on the phone to explain what needed to be done and his promptness and customer service was above and beyond. I would use in the future. Cost was slightly higher than another competitor but overall professionalism was outstanding.

I called Brandon's A1 plumbing company on a Thursday evening at 6:00pm. I told him the garbage disposal was clogged with water spilling over the sink. He arrived within 10 minutes. He worked diligently for 2 hours to unclog the disposal. He also found time to reattach a toilet seat. Amazing!!!!

It went great!! Brandon and Eric were extremely professional and punctual. Setting up the work was a breeze as Brandon came by last week and checked on what was needed to be done. He set up a follow up that day and followed through. They were efficient and extremely responsive and nice. As a courtesy they changed a light bulb for me that was in an awkward spot. I highly recommend A1 Handy man and have other work lined up for them. I look forward to working with them again!!
