Taylor gave us approximate bids based on hourly rates and felt they job would take les time than he estimated. We hired Innovative to paint the inside of the cabinets. Steve came out and did a very good job. The next job was performed by Theo. He was charged to paint the kitchen walls without over painted on our new re-faced cabinets. Theo came in and got right to painting. No taping off where the ceiling and walls met, or around the cabinets. I call it free hand painting. I had never seen anything like this when painting around other materials such as wood cabinets. Theo was so steady in painting straight lines that when he was finished the end result was better than had another painter come in, tapped off the area, then pulled the tape off to reveal paint seeping behind the tape. I was amazed. Taylor and his painters rate a 5."

"My mother had a partcial ceiling replacement due to past water damage that started from a skylight. There was some black mold setting in including a couple other suspicion areas. "Fine Finish Remodeling lives up to their name. They do not settle for "good enough," they make it look great!  Our new kitchen looks fabulous, and the office is an excellent upgrade from what we had. They were able to suggest a number of improvements that took the remodel up to the next level, both in looks and in functionality.  They worked with us at every step, communication was thorough and frequent, and if an idea we had could not be implemented, the discussion was gentle but frank and clear. They stayed within budget. Change orders were discussed fully, including any additional cost, before we moved forward (or not). Also, they clean up at the end of every work day.  There's no escaping dust and clutter during a large remodel, but they kept the disruption and mess to an absolute minimum, and that minimized our stress.
This project extended over the Christmas holidays, and they went way out of their way, on Christmas week, to ensure that we had a functional kitchen, so that we could cook Christmas dinner for our family.
But my absolute favorite thing is the archway, between dining room and living room.  The existing arch was bland and boring.  I found a picture of a wonderful archway on Houzz.com, and from the picture alone, they were able to re-size it and build it into the house so that it looked as it it had always been there.
In fact, after the work was complete, one of our first visitors was someone who had never been to our home before.  She said, "I love your home. This old farmhouse, with all this gorgeous original woodwork, is just beautiful!"  Well  the "beautiful
original woodwork" had been installed by Fine Finish remodeling 2 weeks before she saw it! Score!!
