"In our new house, there was a large (20ft by 25ft) bonus room that wasn't very useful. In early 2018, we wanted to convert it into a bedroom, a bathroom and a small study. We solicited quotes from three contractors, including Superior Building Concepts. When Stan arrived, he looked around, took some notes, asked a couple of questions, and left - the whole thing took 5-10min. We were wondering if he was really that interested in the project... but when the three quotes came in, his was in the middle, but was by far the most detailed, with everything broken up into line items. And, it was thought out better than the other two - in spite of him spending only 5-10min at the house. So, we signed up with Stan to get the work done. The work itself included framing for the new walls/doors, plumbing for the bathroom, installing tile, marble countertop, custom cabinetry, bathtub, new windows (for egress), insulation work, painting, new lighting etc. Multiple adjustments to the plan were made to accommodate our preferences - Stan was very flexible in changing the plan, gave us new adjusted quotes for everything. I've attached some pictures - two of them are of the original bonus room, and the rest are the bedroom/bathroom/study after the work was done. Overall, Stan's quiet competence, work ethic, honesty, flexibility and professionalism were incredible - this was the best contractor experience we've ever had. Since then, Stan has become our go-to general contractor for everything, and we've recommended him to family/friends ever since. (I'll write another review on the deck replacement Stan did.) We would recommend Stan for any contractor work without reservations."

"I had a great experience with Luna Masonry (Jose did the work; he's also the owner). I called because there was a water leak coming into the ceiling of the 2nd floor of our older house, near the chimney. Jose came out the same day, got on the roof, diagnosed the problem and sent me pics of the area of the leak with a quote (it was reasonably priced). He did a great job. Jose is pleasant and professional, and he's any excellent craftsman. I'd use him again, without hesitation."

"When we had a few referred contractors fall through, we found John on Angie's List and are happy we did. We needed to get new flooring and our backsplash tiled. He was responsive, came out right away to give us an estimate. We asked if he would be able to work within our timeline and he was. He put in the LVT flooring throughout our kitchen, living room and hallway - it's beautiful and tiled the backsplash, also lovely. When we ran into an issue with our hood venting he was able to fix that with no issues. We were able to order all the materials through him and the cost includes materials and labor. The pricing wasn't much different than a big box store, and being able to work directly with him and not a third party was much nicer. We will use him again when it's time to remodel the bathroom!"

"Even tho' we engaged another company for the foundation Jay followed the progress all the way thru. This whole ordeal was overwhelming for us home owners but Jay was a major calming factor thru the storm. He came by several times during the actual foundation replacement, I'm sure for his own reasons, but made us aware of the process and how it was going. All the his trades folks were kind, curious, and very professional. When the job was complete it far surpassed our expatiation. We were not pressured to have things we didn't need but he made sure what we needed was done. All in all it was a lot of money but the quality of the work and attention to detail increased the value of our house enough to really make it worth it. "This review is LOOOONG overdue!! First of all- Stellar Construction did an amazing job on our deck. We are extremely happy with the end result and now we love sitting on our awesome deck! After a couple minorly delayed start dates- such is life in construction/ house projects- our project began at the beginning of February and wrapped up on March 20. It took a little longer than expected due mostly to awful weather. The guys who worked on our house (James, Austin, Taylor, Ricardo, and Micah) were professional, courteous, approachable, and did fantastic work. We tore off a rotting wood deck and replaced as well as expanded it to add stairs and more square footage (our project was 500 sqft total). We used Azek pvc decking with hidden fasteners, and added an aluminum and steel cable railing. We also added a cover over a portion of the deck that starts on top of the roof of the house using Roof Jacks. If we had questions Micah always answered the phone and responded to emails promptly. Micah was always up front and extremely fair with the pricing throughout the whole project. I would highly recommend and use Stellar Construction again."
