He walked us through the whole process in buying trek, what to look out for and he did such a great job that my neighbors across the street hired him for their deck. "Let me start by saying, this ADU project was for my daughter, Macy. "I live just down the street from Rob and I had a simple task I asked completed of caulking in the shower. Whether his work was faulty or the product was faulty I don't know, but three times it didn't work. I try not to make assumptions about people. All our conversations have been via text, so I have a full written accounting of what happened. After the last time did not work, he offered to redo it once more or provide a refund and I immediately replied back that I would accept the refund and wish him well. He was going through some family health issues so I didn't press it and I waited to hear from him. Instead of honoring my wish to move forward with the refund he offered, in writing, and I accepted in writing, he tried to schedule a time to redo it. He then says he didn't mean to offer a refund and he refuses to honor it now. He told me I should just file a complaint and "try to ruin his reputation". Just another reason why it's best not to involve neighbors in professional endeavors. I'm sad it turned out this way."
