INCREDIBLE! My first paint job with Walt & Chris & they would have to say no before I even think about another company for future paint jobs. They went above and beyond the expectations and completed the work to perfection. Handling any unforeseen challenge with a smile was so refreshing to see. Felt so very comfortable having them in the house for over two weeks. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough how great Walt and Chris were to work with. They expertly fixed a three-foot hole in our plaster ceiling (we have a 1929 home), and then checked the rest of the ceiling for any other soft spots and hairline cracks, repairing those as well. Then they meticulously went over the entire ceiling and matched the existing texture. Walt and Chris are masters at integrating the right amount of texture: they made the ceiling look seamless while still preserving its character. They are artists and consummate professionals, not to mention genuinely delightful guys. If you have an historic home in need of plaster and / or paint TLC, look no further. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Walt and Chris were great; I've already referred them to a few family members and friends! I had them freshen up condo walls/paint for a tenant (the walls hadn't been painted since 2011!). They repaired all previous wall damage making them look new again and took on the final coat of white paint in the bathroom, saving my day and time! Plus, due to the paint I purchased, one wall streaked and they repainted/fixed without question. Both Walt and Chris were very nice, professional, detailed, communicative and efficient with time. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Wow, wow, wow! Walt and Chris are efficient, professional and transformed my house! I hired them to paint my ceilings and they took great care protecting all surfaces, painting was excellent and everthing was cleaned up well. Hope to hire them again!

Walt and his son were AWESOME; we will hire them again in the future. We are prepping our house for sale, and Walt adjusted his schedule to get us in quickly. They are top-notch professionals, and they promptly, with ease, tackled old trim from 1932 and doors from 1900 and made them look beautiful again. It was hard keeping my husband away, as he was always adding "one more thing" to their list of items to paint. Walt was charming, and both he and his son had a great sense of humor and took pride in doing a quality job. All for a great price!

Beautiful painting job! My walls were meticulously painted with very exact lines between the ceiling and walls. The crew took the time for three coats in one room when they realized it would look better than the standard two. Very friendly and kept me updated as to the status of the job. Highly recommended.

From the initial phone call, everything about this job went smoothly. Walt was able to provide a quick estimate based on some photos and room dimensions. While working with my budget, they were able to exceed expectations not only finishing the job, but taking extra care and added finishing details to make the final job a total success. My job was completed in two and a half hours and looks beautiful. Walt and Chris showed up on time and went above and beyond. Walt scraped excess paint from the molding that had been there from the previous painting job. Walt rehung my linen closet doors that had come off the tracks that I just hadn't taken the time to fix. Fantastic. The job looks beautiful. They went the extra mile to do the patchwork. They were professional and friendly. I am already planning my next project for them to come do. They responded very quickly they are very flexible. They like to work with their customers to make their comfortable. And they work within the customers budget. I called them on Monday and they came out Tuesday.

We hired Walt and his son Chris to paint our kitchen, dining room, living room, hallways and three bedrooms. They were a pleasure to work with and before we knew it, we had a coat of fresh paint in two days! Their communication, attention to detail, materials used, efficient process and professionalism was exactly what we were hoping for. They worked around my wife and I, our two young kids and our very curious 11 lb pooch. Walt was able to provide an accurate quote over the phone based on the house details I provided. They used a quality Miller paint product and went out of their way to protect our furniture, trim work and carpet. Once the paint was dry they did a thorough clean up and helped me re-place some of the heavier furniture items. I'll be having Walt & Chris back out in the near future to paint the interior of our garage. And, I'll be referring them to friends and family. Walt and Chris were awesome! Showed up each morning 8:30, sharp.We discussed each morning what we would like done, and they got to work we had originally planned on one day for the work to be done however they were able to accommodate additional day to paint office and the mouldings. They went above and beyond what we expected! We are so pleased with their work. Looks beautiful. Walt and Chris are professional and friendly.

Working with Walt and his son was fantastic. Communication was great and they completed our job on time and under budget. They painted our front door, built-ins in the dining room, hallway and bathroom, and trim and doors in a bedroom - all under three days. The final result looks amazing - they have great attention to detail. I will be hiring them again in the future.

I was very impressed with this company. They were professional and also personable and they worked together with wonderful teamwork to complete the job with extreme care and on time. The project involved painting the living room, hallway and stairwell and high vaulted ceilings along with some drywall patching and other difficult repair work. Everything turned out beautifully and I love how it looks! I found the cost to be very reasonable and I plan to use them again on some other projects in the house. I would definitely recommend Colorworks NE to anyone looking to hire a great team of people who do excellent work!

Normally we do our own painting, but this time we felt the need to hire professionals. Our ceiling had suffered water damage from a leaking roof and was well beyond our abilities to repair. It is a highly textured, brocaded ceiling. Walt had to tear out a portion of the ceiling over the entry, put in new plaster board and apply new plaster which he also had to texture to match he surrounding ceiling. His work FAR EXCEEDED our expectations. The match is wonderful. We feel extremely fortunate that we found Colorworks NE and that they had an unexpected opening for us. Their bid was very competitive; they finished their work on time and did a far better job in painting than we would have done ourselves. They are patient enough to do the work the right way, but also get it done in a timely manner. Our house is now ready for a summer full of guests!

They did an excellent job. I'd be happy to hire them again. I gave them an N/A on pricing because they have a 3-hour minimum. The room took a lot less time than that, so from my perspective it was more expensive than it should have been. That isn't their fault, of course, and they were the only painters I could find on my timetable who weren't scheduled up with exterior work before winter sets in.

Did areas that were too hard for me. Great to work with again. Used them for other difficult areas years ago.

Excellent. We really liked their pricing model. A daily figure, we supplied paint and the charged a minor amount for consumable supplies, like tape. We are using again.

Walt and his son are so fantastic! They are so meticulous and do lovely work. I had two skylights with vaulted ceilings, and they did an amazing job with them. Beautiful work, and they work hard to do as much as they can in the time you want it done. I wouldn’t use anyone else!

Walt and Chris brush painted our kitchen cabinets that were newly installed 3 years ago. The enamel paint job was failing, and they made them look beautiful again!

This is the second time we've had them out to paint. At the end of a remodel and we couldn't paint anymore ourselves, and our entry way was too tall for us. In two days they painted all the doors, trim and window mouldings and entry way, including the ceiling. It looks beautiful, precise and we are so happy we didn't have to do it. I'd recommend them again and again.
