"Cyrus Neil was tech today and did great job. He even sprayed my hanging plant as he saw it was dying, my services today were dewebbing around the eaves, windows, doors, gutters, and j-rail. checked your bait stations, sprayed along the foundation, windows, doors, and gutters to create a barrier that will help keep pest out of and off your home. Great job"

"We needed more data as to whether we had bedbugs, so we hired a canine search which indicated that we did not. The problem turned out to have a medical explanation and not a vector problem. My advice is to use everything possible to decide if the problem is really bed bugs. A well trained dog is close to 90% accurate, and add that to physical evidence, i.e., feces stains which are brown, looking in the seams of your mattress, and on your bed frame is important. There are many pictures of evidence online, so do your homework first, then the canine, then the estimates. Try not to panic. The idea of bedbugs is extremely disconcerting and emotional. It is not a disease of unkempt and unclean people. It is becoming more widespread. So try to separate yourself from the image, and think clearly and read reliable websites. Here is the result of our research. [*** Link removed ***] [*** Link removed ***] [*** Link removed ***] [*** Link removed ***] [*** Link removed ***] [*** Link removed ***] There are many photos of bed bugs, their feces, their eggs, and information as to how to investigate for them before you have someone come out. You need to educate yourself first, so that you know which questions to ask. Do not forget about using a trained dog. See my review of a canine under "Pest Control.""

"Mouse in the house!!!! I texted Sunday morning after having chased a mouse through the house Saturday all day and Sunday at 3am... they came out to the house by 12:30 that Sunday. Jake got in the crawl space and checked the outside of the house for entry points. While there was no evidence of a major problem, I opt ed for the full attack. He came in with an Arsenal of traps that he placed in the kitchen and crawl space. He didn t hard sell and his prices were very affordable! He was also very honest with potential outcomes which I appreciate. He literally just left and I haven t heard any traps go off but just based on his customer service, I would totes recommend him! He s coming back in a week to check traps. I ve read some horror stories about other companies but I feel very confident that I m working with an upstanding professional. And he s dog friendly!"

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Any food that’s left out can potentially attract mice, but they especially like grains such as rice. Mice will also go after fruit, fatty foods like bacon, pasta, and cereal. Mice can also be attracted to garbage and compost bins if they’re left uncovered. The best way to prevent mice from getting to these areas is to keep food in hard-sided containers and cover garbage bins.

Most DIY roach fogger products are made of pyrethroid pesticides that come with their own unique risks and benefits. They also contain aerosol propellants that disperse the pesticides by creating a fog that fills the entire room. Read all labels carefully before purchasing a fogger product to ensure that you understand how to properly handle the ingredients that you are introducing into your home.

Groundhogs are non-aggressive animals that are afraid of humans. They forage for vegetation in yards and gardens, so they can often be seen as a nuisance if you spot one on your property. That said, if you happen to get bitten or scratched by a fearful groundhog, be sure to get checked by a doctor, as they could carry infections or diseases like rabies, Lyme, or the rare tularemia.

It’s been said that baking soda can kill fleas as it may dry out eggs and larvae. However, this method has not been proven to be effective in killing fleas or other pests. However, you can use it to absorb smells so if there is a fragrance you believe is attracting fleas or ticks, you can use baking soda to rid the smell to control it.

We recommend using diatomaceous earth to create roach repellent barriers outdoors. Most oil and spray applications will quickly wear down in outside weather, so they aren’t as much use  in the outdoors. If you are really struggling with an outdoor roach problem, we suggest looking for pet-safe bait traps you can set.
