"My girlfriend and I recently contacted All Service Moving to help us relocate our furniture from Seattle to Lake City, and the service from them was amazing! Brad and Donald were personable, professional, speedy, and thorough. I definitely recommended their service if you need lots of stuff moved quickly and hiccup-free. They wrapped everything up nicely (they were also very handy with their bubble-wrap, even using it as a doorstop when going in and out for easier access), deconstructed furniture with ease, and overall made the job look so easy!"

Small jobs welcome

"From the very start, Redefyne truly redefines the moving experience. Aaron conducted a virtual walk through and provided me with separate, detailed estimates for moving, packing, and materials in less than an hour. Even before we selected them, Redefyne sent 4 emails with helpful tips on packing, moving, and essential relocation reminders. They checked in the morning before the move. And the team of Tyler, Trey, Rich, and Casey were on time, polite, careful, efficient, and cheerful all day. Thank you, Redefyne, for making this a much easier moving experience."

Moving questions, answered by experts

Cross-country moves are tricky and risky for your fish, so it’s often best to move the fish separately or rehome them. If you’re attached to your animals and determined to bring them, find a friend to house them and ship them to you once the new tank is ready. You can also contact your local fish store and ask if they offer temporary housing and shipping services until you get settled. If you’re moving to another country, it’s often best to sell the tank and fish, or find a good home locally.

Hot tubs are very difficult to transport to a different location. For reference, a standard hot tub weighs about 800 pounds. This job requires several people, plus the necessary equipment and safety measures to ensure a safe delivery. That’s why it’s usually best to leave it to a team of moving professionals.

While your movers focus on packing and transporting your belongings, you can focus on other parts of your move, such as preparing children and pets to move or cleaning rooms as they’re emptied. You’ll need to be onsite as your movers pack or unpack your stuff, and can help direct movers to where items should go if they need help. Additionally, if there are certain items you’d prefer to move yourself, such as valuables or sentimental items, focus on packing those things and taking them with you during your move.

If you don’t have the TV’s original wrapping sleeve, you’ll need to find other methods of protection when moving it to a new home. Your best options for wrapping a TV are a combination of bubble wrap and moving blankets. For extra protection, you can purchase a foam TV cover or pouch, which is made exclusively for this purpose.

Surprisingly, no! For most house moves, you can keep everything inside as is, although we’d recommend taking out any sentimental or extremely fragile items. You’ll need to fully empty your basement or crawl space, but otherwise, your home can be moved with everything intact. Your movers will also be able to provide you with further guidance.
