Hello, I'm Kevin, Owner and operator of Lionheart Fire & Hearth, LLC dba Refiners Fire Services. My goal is to provide quality service at an affordable rate year after year. If I can't fix it, I don't charge. When I service a direct vent gas fireplace, 80-90% of my service does not require parts replacement, just a bit of expertise in cleaning and adjusting and knowing when to replace a part and when not to. I also install wood stoves and inserts, install and service freestanding gas stoves, inserts and built-in fireplace, install and service firepits and BBQs. I can extend and install gas lines indoors or out and underground. Cold, windy, rainy days still ahead, if you enjoy a warm cozy and romantic evening with your spouse in front of the fire, but it's not working or looking so good.... call me! I will come out and inspect, clean and adjust it so it's warm and cozy I have been in the industry for over 20 years and now own and operate my own fireplace business.

Quoted a list of optional improvements (chimney cap, brick cleaning/seal) and repairs (cement flue cap replacement) that should be considered, but that they not a limitation to safe usage of the fireplace. "Vasiliy is an amazingly talented craftsman with many talents and years of experience. Our nearly 100 year old deteriorating brick chimney was leaking water into the interior of the house and had to be repaired. Vasiliy came highly recommended to me by one of the best contractors in Portland, and I called upon him to fix it. The chimney was red brick, but Vasiliy suggested a lighter, golden color brick as it was more economical. Since our house is yellow, the golden color looked even better than red brick would have, and I saved money. The chimney is beautiful, and the repair/rebuild was so well done that Ithink it will last another 100 years,"
