"Jim showed up at my house the next business day after our phone conversation and provided a free estimate (some plumbing contractors charge to estimate a job.) My water heater was working fine, but it was about 20 years old so I wanted to replace it so as not to have to do it in a rush situation. I also wanted a shut-off valve installed on the main water line in my cellar, and a have valve added so I can drain my water lines. Jim offered some good suggestions for how to install the valves, and gave me a price that I thought was very reasonable. The following week, David showed up to do the plumbing.
