"They fixed the leak and put in a sump pump and water trench. The basement leaked 2 more times afterwards, but they returned to correct it right away. We were responsible all 3 times to repair the drywall and wood landing at the bottom of the stairs,so I called saying that I should not have to keep fixing those thing over and over. The CEO of the company called back and came out to the house himself to inspect. He had his people come out to the house again to do more that he felt would fix the problem for good, as well fixing the drywall and landing at no cost. It was a frustrating experience, but this company and it's CEO stood by thier work and made it right. I would use them again."

"My basement was getting some water in a corner during a heavy rain and I was able to have that corner repaired and also have a sump pump installed that can communicate with my phone and give me alerts to my phone if something isnâ t working properly. The new sump pump alone was worth everything."

Brocious Plumbing, Heating & AC, LLC started business in 2001 out of our home in Gettysburg, Ohio. \n\nWe have outgrown our business location 4 times and are currently located on Red River West Grove Rd, South of Gettysburg. This is our final location, I hope. \n\nThere have been many changes over the years, licenses gained, trainings taken, and much experience to learn from.\n\nOur biggest change came in 2019 when my wife and business partner died suddenly. That necessitated huge changes in my business. \n\nWe pride ourselves on our quality of work and our experience. We still continually try to do better and fix our flaws.\nOur licenses and certifications are plumbing, water treatment, wells, well pumps, gas lines through Vectren’s & Centerpoint’s courses, universal refrigerant, multiple flexible gas lines, advanced certifications for Rinnai tankless water heaters..

"Mr. Wells and his staff worked with us very closely to ensure that we have the equipment that we needed at a price that we could afford.  They provided options for our furnace, answered all types of questions, and guide us to a furnace that will not only address our immediate needs but that has the attributes that will give us a worry-free operation for another 20 years.  The installers were meticulous, enterprising, and hard workers.  They arrived on time and departed only after the unit was operating as advertised.  In addition, this furnace came with a three years maintenance agreement so twice a year Wells will stop by our home to check and tune-up our unit.
Bottom line:  The customer service, furnace attributes, employees, warranty, service after the purchase, and price made this purchase a winning one!

Sump Pump Installation questions, answered by experts

A sump pump can be plugged into a regular, 110-volt outlet with three-prong openings, but it must have GFCI protections per the NEC, meaning you’ll need a GFCI outlet and circuit. Sump pumps require two outlet openings, one for the plug to the motor and one for the float switch.

If you notice any new sump pump noises, such as persistent clanging or gurgling, then you likely have a sump pump problem on your hands. Foul odors coming from the pump can also indicate problems. Additionally, if your unit turns on but doesn't pump water, you might have to address electrical problems. In any of these cases, it's a good idea to hire a professional to address the issue.

If you’re wondering if your home even needs a sump pump, consider whether you’ve struggled with flooding issues in the past. If your house is in a flood-prone area, your yard has poor drainage, or you’ve dealt with any other water problems, then it’s likely well worth it to replace your old sump pump with a new one.

Sump pumps remove excess water from the lowest point of your home, which prevents flooding. When a sump pit fills with water, a sump pump pushes that water outside of the basin and into an exterior discharge pipe. From there, the water flows away from your home, so it doesn’t damage your foundation.

Repairs typically take 1-2 hours, while replacements, depending on accessibility, may require up to 4 hours.
