"We wanted to replace couple windows at the house. We found universal windows direct, Almost a week ago they were supposed to install the new windows, but they brought the wrong size windows (way smaller than what we have now), long story short they want to install these smaller windows inside the old windows, some how retrofit the old windows and get these in. We were never told or explain this. We were expecting window replacement. Now we can not get a hold of them to see when or if they are bringing the right size windows. Oh yeah do not do fall for the loan deal with them, they charge you with the loan on day one, 8 weeks before they're supposed to deliver the windows. Now we have a loan and no windows. They took the money and the windows and ghosted us, been calling every day to talk to them for a solution and every time they are not available."

"I am sure that all positive reviews for this company are fake. Nothing that was promised to me was delivered. My siding project is still ongoing for over 1 month. Was told that it would be done in week. Had one rain day. They have system like this: 1) sales person who never installed anything he will promise you things that obviously are not true, 2) crew that is subcontracted but not Gunner, mine was driving for over 2 hours away, 3) person who oversees the project but has little control over anything, no supply, doesn't know the crew, crew does not listen to him, main office does not listen to him, 4) main office does not reply to you. They just tell me to talk to project manager who has no control. So you understand that if there are any issue you are on your own. Quality or work is not good. Many times I had to point to the crew what's wrong, planks are broken yet they were still installing it, caulking is done they way that I can do it better, they cut wires to awning etc"

"I paid Mr. Phomalee $1275 to do some bathroom remodeling work that he'd initially stated he'd be able to begin between Christmas and New Years this past December. After not showing up at that time, he proceeded to promise that work would begin on eight separate dates, missing all of them. During this time I received no communication from Mr. Phomalee unless I initiated it, and when I did he made an excuse related to his vehicle or family each time. Finally, I informed Mr. Phomalee that I needed him to return the funds paid to him as it had become clear he had no intention of doing the work for which he had been contracted. He informed me at that time that his previous excuses had been lies, that he had used the money I'd paid him for gambling, and that he most recently had not been able to due the work because he'd been trying to secure a loan to cover "the bad checks [he] had written to gamble so [he] didn't go to jail". So, I'm now in a position where I've had an unusable shower for two months, and will be forced to seek legal action against Mr. Phomalee to attempt to recover my money."

Whether you need to remove your home's gutters before installing a drip edge depends entirely on their installation. In most cases, you can work around the gutters and not have to remove them. This process is straightforward because the drip edge should extend past the back edge of the gutter. However, if your gutter placements are high on the fascia, you may have to take them down to install the drip edge properly. 

One of the biggest causes of gutter leaks is clogged gutters. If your gutters are full of debris and leaves, water will back up and eventually overflow outside of the gutter. Other common causes of gutter leaks include loosened gutter fasteners, faulty gutter slopes (sagging gutters), separated joints, and cracks or holes.

It is possible to repair your own gutters, but we don’t recommend it. First, gutters need to sit at a precise slope to direct water toward the downspouts but also appear level from the yard, and this task is challenging to get right through DIY gutter repair. Second, any mistakes you make could be costly if they cause water damage or foundation damage. It might seem unnecessary to spend $400 on professional gutter repair, but it pales in comparison to what you might pay if you make a mistake doing the work yourself.

If your gutters get overwhelmed every time it rains, adding an extra downspout is a solution. First, you'll need to decide where to add the downspout. If your current setup only has a single downspout, one option is to place a new one at the opposite end of the gutter. If you already have a downspout at each end, adding a third one in the middle can help to lighten the load. 

You can hire a professional to add a downspout yourself by cutting into the existing gutter and attaching the necessary parts, such as an outlet and brackets.

If you don't want to install gutter guards, the most inexpensive alternative is to clean your gutters as soon as they start to fill up. You can use a leaf blower attachment to make this process easier. You can also install gutter screens, which are typically made of wire mesh, nylon, or foam. These usually cost much less than a full gutter guard installation and can reduce regular gutter cleanings.
