"We selected Blair Heating and Cooling to install a Trane Mini-split ductless AC system in our historic 100 year old house. The system has two compressors and a total of 6 indoor units. From the start, Greg Blair and his team went out of their way in suggesting ways to accomplish exactly what we wanted. His team sought our feedback on every decision made right down to the routes the outside lines took to make sure they were as integrated as possible. Even though the job was difficult as our house is a three-story brick house with terra cotta blocks in the walls and metal where you would think metal shouldn't be, all of them remained positive, helpful and really excellent. Hi! I am a chemical engineer specializing in industrial utilities by trade who enjoys fixing and building things in my free time. I offer services such as furniture building, home appliance repairs (ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwasher, garbage disposal, washer/dryer, water heater, A/C, furnace, sump pump, etc) small scale plumbing or drainage projects/repairs (exterior storm water drainage, pvc/copper piping- I do not do cast iron, faucets, etc). I can install new appliances, but might need help lifting and setting the appliance (I do not dispose of old appliances). I also can repair kitchen stand mixers such as Kitchen aids (rebuild/regrease).

"The biggest obstacle was scheduling.  The Angie's List confirmation email did not include the instruction to schedule on the Flow-Rite web site.  It took 3 or 4 emails to clarify that which delayed getting the work scheduled. 
The replacement parts worked fine with the exception of some excess plastic on the valve which prevented a tight seal and thus lead to a running toilet.  It took a few minutes with the razor blade to cut the excess off and allowed the seal to form properly.  This probably should have been done by the installer.

Got quotes on 3 different furnaces that night and it was installed the very next morning! Since installation their service has been 5 star. Highly recommend Hauser Heating & Air."

"I was advised by another HVAC service company that I needed to replace the condenser motor and fan on our cooling system. I was provided an estimate in excess of $1,000. So, I opted for a second opinion. I contacted Kirk Wiesman at New Climate. Kirk evaluated the unit that same day and stated that it is difficult to predict when the motor may fail. With young children in my home, I prefer to error on the side of caution and wanted the motor replaced if I could afford to do so. Kirk stated that the fan was fine and did not need to be replaced. As promised, Kirk provided later that same day an estimate to replace the motor ($393). We agreed upon a date and time for the work to be completed. Kirk showed up on time and installed a direct replacement (original equipment) motor.  Kirk explained the charges, which matched the estimate.  Kirk also explained the warranty on this work."
