New Climate Heating & Cooling is based in West Chester and has been serving the greater Cincinnati and Dayton locations since 1990. We are a authorized dealer of Trane Heating and Cooling systems. New Climate has access to other HVAC equipment upon special requests for our customers. New Climate services all makes and models of Residential and Commercial HVAC equipment brands. These guys were amazing. They were the first ones to call after I submitted a request on Angie's List, and they came out the same afternoon. They did everything they could to keep the price of the repair down, including calling the furnace manufacturer to see if some of the parts were covered by warranty. Then they were willing to work with me when it ended up costing a bit more than I expected (something that was out of their control.) They lent me a few heaters to put in my kids' rooms overnight since the parts place had closed for the day by the time they knew what they needed. The level of care I received from this company was incredible - not something I expected at all. I'm really happy to have worked with them, and I most definitely will be giving them my business in the future!

Kirk arrived and listened carefully to our problem and what had been done to date.  He diagnosed the possible problems, and thought that he could fix the unit rather than replacing it.  We had proposals to fully change out our system:  not one heating and cooling company was interested in working on the unit to repair it.  Kirk analyzed the potential problems and systematically tested the outside unit thoroughly.  We repaired the unit, vs. replacing it, and saved us thousands of dollars.  He is a pleasure to work with, and I will recommend his company to everyone I meet.  Honorable, hard working and trustworthy.  Most highly recommended!!

The furnace in my mother's home was not putting out much heat.  The home consists of an 88 year old, 33 year old and a 5 year old. 
The temperature kept getting colder and colder (56 when they woke today).  I take care of the household finances for my mother, and had my niece call for service.  Kirk came this evening, found the problem and got it fixed.  He found the gas pipe blocked for some rust.  If he was unscrupulous, she could have soaked us for a new ignitor since that is what we assumed the problem was.  Instead, he only charged us for a one-hour service call even though he was there longer.  He was nice, courteous, and I would recommend him to anyone (and will).

I was advised by another HVAC service company that I needed to replace the condenser motor and fan on our cooling system. I was provided an estimate in excess of $1,000. So, I opted for a second opinion. I contacted Kirk Wiesman at New Climate. Kirk evaluated the unit that same day and stated that it is difficult to predict when the motor may fail. With young children in my home, I prefer to error on the side of caution and wanted the motor replaced if I could afford to do so. Kirk stated that the fan was fine and did not need to be replaced. As promised, Kirk provided later that same day an estimate to replace the motor ($393). We agreed upon a date and time for the work to be completed. Kirk showed up on time and installed a direct replacement (original equipment) motor.  Kirk explained the charges, which matched the estimate.  Kirk also explained the warranty on this work.

Kirk installed a furnace for us in 2010, sent his nephew to service the furnace in the spring.  He left us an extra filter and will no longer return our calls.  I called New Climate this fall for service to our furnace and talked to his secretary.  She said she'd have him call us.  WE didn't hear from him or anyone at his office.  I called his cell two weeks later and got no response.  Kirk Wiseman likes to install an expensive furnace but not to provide the service to maintain it and keep up the warranty.

"New Climate would like to take a moment to extend a DEEP apology to the member for the mis -communication in providing her and her family the service on her new furnace. Looking back at the time the member was trying to reach us , Mr.Wiesman was experincing a personal medical issue during this period of time and was a huge distraction for him and beleive these calls were missed and not returned due to this situation. However going forward and learning from this experience New Climate has taken new steps in assuring these calls are not missed like the member's were when unusal circumstances accure or one individual is trying to be contacted."

Kirk was getting a lot of jobs at this time and I told him we didn't have people living in the house until Thanksgiving came around so that gave him some more flex time and made the job take a little longer, but he finished about a week before I was planning on moving in. The furnace works great, and the ductwork they installed was very impressive going through three floors (through two closets). The attic wasn't the easiest place to work in and there are some neat twist and turns these guys had to take and he even cut the shelves and rod, then remounted them to fit with the ductwork. Also gave a great price compared to 4 other contractors I had quote the job.

The furnace works quite well. New Climate even repaired some bad ductwork on our 2nd furnace for a reasonable price. Kirk reviewed several options with me about what size furnace we needed and why, the differences between furnaces of three companies, and left the final decision for me and my husband to make. When we hesitated because of the pricing of the 3 furnaces, he called the companies and got us a lower price on each furnace.

Excellent job. The only supplier I found who would tried to repair my heat pump and/or prolong its remaining life instead of going for the big sale upfront. Because of that honesty, I will definitely turn to them for the eventual replacement.

Job took 2 days... owner of company came to give estimate and supervise workers ... this work was done on the hottest days this year... I had no a/c.... they set up window a/cs to keep me comfortable overnight... they were very neat and professional.... price was competitive.... top quality equipment.... 10 year guarantee on parts and labor if you pay their yearly maintenance fee ($162) which includes 2 checkups per year. They made sure i got all rebates availalble (govt and duke energy).

"Regarding the members project. We at New Climate did view his HVAC project and proceeded to assemble an estimate for him and did not receive accurately. From time to time emailed estimates (going paperless) are not recieved by customers due to spam blockers and other safeguards that maybe in place. However we may have had a breakdown in the area of contacting each other by phone, so overall the communication process would have not have broken down. New Climate is greatly learned from this mistake and have implemented greater measures to help prevent this occurance in the future and send our apologies out to our valued member."

I called Lennox from the info on their Web site and they gave me the closest companies using out Zip code. This was the second company I called and Kirk answered. Offered to come out in an hour and give us an estimate. He did - and spent all the time it took to educate us as to what is new available since we installed our system in a new home, 21 years ago. We both liked him and what he had to say and his organized, customer friendly presentation. He listened to what we wanted without trying to sell and in a way that instilled confidence and trust. We thought that was pretty amazing - muy husband and I talked it over after he left and called him immediately and consented to the work. He and his assistants showed up the next day and we've never had such a complications- free encounter. They worked steadily and well and seemed to enjoy each other and the work and it showed.
