The fellow showed up on time and was very cordial.  Went right to work after I showed him the various areas needing to be cleaned.  Carpets were in good shape but the heavier traffic areas like the steps definitely showed dirt and flattened out areas where our small dog likes to sleep.  After he was done with the steps,  they looked good as new!
On top of that the carpets were completely dry after I came home from work.
