"As I requested they provided the cost for drain snaking upfront. A simple procedure that most others would not quote. (They wanted to do a separate "diagnostic" visit and additional fee. The work was fine. The technician very competent and concientious about keeping things clean. The only rub, they wanted $179 to put the toilet back in (way out of line). I think they could have told me. Nevertheless, I drove to home depot for a wax ring and had it done in 10 minutes. Overall, a 4 oout of 5. If they charged a more reasonable rate for reseating the toilet i would have had them do it, and would have rated a 5."

"I am not pleased with the service I received! They damaged my waterline and stated someone would be out to fix it. It's been 9 months and no one will return my calls nor have they come to fix what they damaged! They ruined my lawn and never came back to replace the soil they dug up! They ruined my basement floor and I had to replace my entire floor! They said they would be out to test the sump pump and drains that were installed, again, it's been 9 months and no one has followed up with me! I'm really concerned that the lifetime warranty they say I have even exists!"

In most areas, drain cleaning professionals don’t technically need a license, as they aren’t altering your plumbing system in any way. However, we recommend hiring a drain cleaning professional with a plumbing license and certification. Certified plumbers are more likely to provide professional solutions to drain clogs without damaging your system. They’ll also have the diagnostic tools and experience necessary to remove the clog entirely rather than providing a temporary solution, as a handyperson might. A small amount of diluted bleach is okay to pour down a garbage disposal. As part of your weekly garbage disposal maintenance, use 1 teaspoon of bleach with your concoction of ice cubes and lemon peels. Turn on the disposal and run the water until the blades chop up the ice cubes.
