"We used B&B Materials for a driveway, sidewalk, and apron. The staff communicates well and willingly answers any questions a person may have about the project. B&B Materials will also help a person customize the project to suit the needs of the application. The company is flexible in scheduling. If a person is flexible too, B&B Materials may be able to schedule the job earlier if openings in the schedule develop. Our project was completed a month ahead of our schedule. The crew was very down to earth and friendly. "Dan was a great contractor. He was fair and honest from the beginning with the estimate, the scheduling, updates as to when he was going to start the job and through the whole process of tearing out concrete and pouring. Everything was spelled out on the estimate and in writing. Any extras he might have to do was in there so there would be no surprises when he was doing the job. Ended up we need a lot of extras but we knew cost and were no surprises when we got the bill. He was on the job everyday so no contract employees to deal with. If he had questions about what we wanted he asked and we worked out the details. We made some changes on the fly and he was able to do them. We had bad drainage pipes and he needed to put on new ones and we knew the cost before hand. So it was easy to tell him go ahead because Dan knew if it was not done he would be back in couple years to fix the concrete again because the base would fail due to water under it that is the homeowners responsibility to do. He ended up adding 190 feet of drain tile we did not think we were going to need when we started the project but we ended up needing it because our drive collects all our water and the neighbors yard water. The driveway actually flooded overnight as he was removing the old concrete so it need all the drain tile to make it last. I have to say our yard has never been drier. We made the right call. He also recommended how we should do our sidewalk to eliminate steps and make it look great. We are so happy with Dan’s job that we recommend him for anybody wanting new concrete. He is a great guy and he is an honest man. We would have him work here again if we need more concrete poured. Give him a call. You will not be disappointed in his work.

"Klink provided slab jacking of a great room which was a 2004 addition onto our 1979 slab home, erected prior to our purchase of the home. Inspection by an independent structural engineer last November confirmed that the floor had begun to settle as the original foundation fill had further compacted over the past ~20 years. Klink inspected underground drain tiles to ensure none had been crushed or broken with water infiltrating the foundation (none found). Even with no problem with drainage, Klink also upgraded the drains and added a cleanout which was not originally constructed, and poured new concrete after completing the excavation.
As an added project while they were here, they did concrete work at the front of the house: replacing a front step which was installed over the original and was crumbling, and replacing four panels of the driveway to restore the driveway flush to the garage floor.
It's difficult to find a contractor as attentive to every detail and as thorough on all aspects as Klink. Bill handled all of the city paperwork and inspection and the team documented the progress with photographs for future reference, as well as patiently answering all questions and carefully explaining what was needed.
Klink are well-known for their decades of quality work and are in very high demand, particularly for emergency jobs like flooding. We had to wait about nine months from signing (late December) until project could begin (early September), especially with the high volume of emergency projects they were called to do this year, but our project was not urgent and we did not want to do it during winter or spring rains anyway. If you can be patient to stay on their waitlist for your project it will be well worth it. They're not only experts and totally thorough, but decent and enjoyable people as well. It was a pleasure to do business with them and get to know them and support a local family-owned company. And if you do get onto their waitlist: patience is appreciated and counts!
