My recommendation: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY APPLIANCE REPAIR. They are extremely high priced and have very poor Custoner service. The overpriced repair they performed on my Monogram refrigerator lasted a bit over 1 year and had to be repaired again for the exact same issues a little over 1 year later. LET THE BUYER BEWARE!!

It took 3 trips (plus a trip that they cancelled) to get the dishwasher working again. The first guy they sent out (Josh) was clueless. He spent an hour talking on the phone to multiple people at his company and Electrolux because he had no idea on how to proceed. Of course, Total Appliance charged me for labor for his tutorial time, which we feel is COMPLETELY UNFAIR!! After all this time trying to have others help him diagnose the problem, he still was unsure, so he ordered a “leak kit” for $215, which is a box full of hoses, clamps, etc to basically change out all the parts (that may have been leaking) underneath the dishwasher. A couple days later, they sent a different guy to install the leak kit. After guy #2 checked out the bottom of the dishwasher, he said he thought the problem was actually a leaky motor. So he ordered that part (for $168 plus labor) and said that someone would be back in a couple days to install the motor. The next appt was cancelled by them because the part supposedly came in broken, which was not discovered until a half hour before they were to arrive. So they reordered that part and came out the following week to install. All in all, I devoted 4 partial days to this repair and paid $600. Granted, Electrolux appliances are all complete garbage, but nevertheless, we feel that the price was very high. And we were quite upset that we had to pay labor charges for the first technician’s education time, which he ended up improperly diagnosing.

Way too expensive for the time spent (30 minutes) and technician did not have the spare part... special ordered but I must install myself or they'll chage me another $150.00 for an installation that will take minutes.

not well. we were charged a lot for the service call and they couldn't diagnose the problem. They told us to buy a new machine. My husband looked up the problem online, ordered a $70 part online, and fixed it himself in 45 minutes. I have used them many times before with actually good results, but this time was a fiasco.

The technician (Pat) was very professional and efficient in taking care of the problem which turned out to be a blocked drain. He cleaned it and cleaned the condenser coils as well. Educated me regarding periodic maintenance; maintenance I can do as well as what I need to call them for. I was very appreciative information.

It was determined that it would not be cost effective to repair.

The repairman came, saw the problem with in two minutes - one of the racks had been put in incorrectly after cleaning and the door would not shut. It took less that 5 minutes and he not only charged us for the service call but charged us for an additional 15 minutes. I paid the charge but do not appreciate being ripped off - would not use again.

Total Appliance was a wee bit on the pricey side, but they came out the same day, and quickly identified and fixed the problem (bad thermostat). He also vacuumed the coils on the freezer and fridge units, and gave it a clean bill of health when he was done. Outstanding, prompt service. We could not be happier and will definitely be using them again in the future! After all was said and done, worth every penny.

It took 3-4 business days for someone to be able to come out, but Brian did arrive early within the time frame they gave.  It didn't take more than 10 minutes for him to diagnose the problem, and he had it fixed pretty quickly.  He seemed very knowledgeable, considering it's not a very common brand, and he indicated that if it wasn't just the switch, it would probably not be worth fixing - I appreciated the honesty.  It wasn't a cheap repair, considering it was just an easily-accessible, plug-in switch, but it was about 80% LESS expensive than buying a new washer.  We've used it for about 15 years, so if we get a few more years out of it (which is very likely,) I'll consider it money very well spent.  The only downside of my experience is that in addition to the charge just to come out and look, they also charge by the quarter hour.  I understand the charge to come and look in the first place, but it would be nice if at least the first 15 minutes of diagnosis/repair was included in that service call charge.

They came out four times. They sent one person out that diagnosed the problem. They sent somebody back to fix the problem but she didn't know what she was actually fixing. They fixed the wrong thing, they put two parts in that were wrong and diagnosed it wrongly  three times. They were rather expensive. They were like $75 just to come out. You get charged by the hour as well. I wouldn't recommend them. The person they sent out wasn't experienced. They kept sending somebody else out and so, there was no consistence in their work.

The technician arrived at the agreed upon time and diagnosed two different issues (uneven cooling and broken ice-maker).  Parts were needed to address both problems.  Normally would not have invested $600+ in a ten year old fridge but it was an expensive French-door model and because we had just purchased the house it was covered by a seller's warranty which covered a portion of the cost.
The parts needed to be ordered and arrived in about a week.  The parts were installed in less than an hour and everything is now working as promised.

Their Service Man (Kevin) Arrived not only on time but early and went to work. Found the problem a frozen pump shaft, freed it up and got my washer working again in a matter of approximately 45 minutes. Since the washer is 45-50 years old he mentioned that there are other things needing replacement such as the pump. He gave me a price for replacement of the pump if I wanted to pursue it. Luckily they had a replacement at the shop. He gave me a price for the replacement and left. I found him to be very knowledgeable in all sorts of appliances and quite professional.
