"They could not use the furnace that was advertised, they had to upgrade. Something about a down flow and up flow. The one being offered was either down flow or up flow, I cant remember, and I needed the other one so they had to upgrade it. I spend several hundred dollars more then that. I thought that they were prompt, the guy that came in explained everything in detail to me, showed me how to install the filter. He created it so I could easily install the filter which I couldn't on the other one. He was patient, took his time, and what was required to do a professional job. He was very professional, cleaned up after himself and was good."

"On May 24, 2019, I replaced two 20-year-old York AC units with (two) 2-ton 13 seer Carrier units at my rental. The two technicians Brad and Kevin arrived around 10:00 AM. They removed the old units and installed the two new units. The total cost $6,174.00 including permit fees, tax, and installation. It includes a 5-yr parts & 1-year labor warranty. The technicians, Brad & Kevin were great. They were conscientious, personable and willing to answer all my questions. Unfortunately, it rained part of the day. They made sure to put down drop cloths and kept the mess to a minimum. The entire installation took approximately 9 hours. I stayed and watched the entire time so I can attest to their work ethic, expertise and honesty. The old equipment was removed by a scrapper they called. The only issue I have and it is not with the installers but the company's policy of only giving a 5-yr warranty rather than the normal 10-yr residential warranty. They considered my residential rental as commercial. But I knew this up front. So the issue for me was should I go with another company that I received a bid from but which was around $350 higher per unit to get the 10-year warranty or go with New Albany H & C? I chose the lower price over the longer warranty. New Albany H & C is part of a larger group of companies that include Pickerington H & C, Hilliard Dublin H & C, and a few others. I like the company's policies and customer service but the warranty issue does stick in my craw. I would use the company again and I would request Brad and Kevin again."

"It was good. We were satisfied. They were here all day. They did it before we put in a new furnace. They put everything back the way it was supposed to be. They did a thorough job. They were very professional."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"My wife called Baumann plumbing in the evening on a Tuesday, and Gary called back later that night. After I spoke to him, Gary came out that night (at 9:30pm) to look at our lot and we went out with flashlights to get an estimate. Gary gave us a quote of about $1300 for the work. I explained that we were having 3 other companies give estimates the next morning. He offered me to call him with any question regarding the other quotes, even if we did not end up hiring Baumann. Although their price was significantly higher than a few other companies, I did call Gary and he answered many of my questions honestly. I can't commend Gary more for his honesty and candor, even after we decided to hire another company for the job. Every company should model their customer interaction by Gary's example. In the future, I would not hesitate to hire this company for other plumbing work"

"The pressure washing was fine but the added service of exterior window washing promised was definitely not a priority for them. They sprayed the windows off and just let them dry with spots all over them. When I asked if they were going to wipe them off they said they would "Probably dry without spotting". I wiped a few myself that were important to me, but the rest were just left to spot. They definitely prioritize the power washing and not the promised "extras"."

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

If you're often struggling with radiator issues like chilly spots, leaks, or annoying noises, those are common indications that your radiator may need to be replaced. Corrosion, uneven heating, and persistent hissing sounds are common issues as well. When repairs become a regular chore and your home’s energy bills start to rise, a new radiator will bring the comfort and savings you need.

One of the easiest ways to determine which type of furnace will work best for your home is to contact a professional in your area. Many HVAC companies offer free consultations to help potential customers determine if they need a new system and which type would work best for their home and the community’s climate.

Professionals can recommend efficient layouts or appliances and ensuring regulatory compliance.

There are several types of home radiators, and the most common are steam heat radiators, electric radiators, and dual-fuel radiators. Steam heat radiators are connected to a boiler. Electric radiators can operate without being connected to anything else—they just need an electrical outlet. If you have a dual-fuel radiator, you’ll see a valve at the bottom of the system with a wire coming out of it and going into a wall. These are often your towel radiators in the bathroom. The type of radiator you have will impact how you turn it on.

The right type of HVAC system will depend on several factors, including your climate, budget, preferences, and existing HVAC setup. For example, if you live in an area that experiences extreme weather, then a split system would likely be the best option. Or, if budget is a concern, consider installing a ductless system in just one room.
