+ -1 moreRodger Sweitzer is the contact person. He is the owner. I’ve had excellent service with them. They are prompt and get the job done. They are reasonable on price. It was nice. There were no surprises. My overall experience has been very good and that is why I deal with them. I will absolutely continue to use them. I’ve gone through many until I found the golden nugget.
Description of Work: I used Baumann Plumbing to reseat valves and change the gaskets and stuff on a leaking shower.

+ 0 moreIt went extraordinarily well. One of the owners of the company spoke to me for about 45 minutes over the phone, walking me through the different types of water heaters to make sure I was well informed. They sent someone out and got the job done quickly.

Description of Work: Needed a new on-call plumber after mine of 25 years retired. Was referred to Baumann by a neighbor friend. We developed a leak under our sinks/disposal in the kitchen which I tried to correct myself, making the problem worse. They were able to immediately respond to my call and were at my home the same day. Problem was faulty installation and resultant corrosion of several pipes. I was told exactly what needed to be done and the cost thereof and they completed the job in one hour. Excellent at cleaning up all water and debris discharge under the sinks. After finishing this, I asked them to check a toilet in the guest bathroom that was not shutting off after flushing. They had the replacement parts with them and were able to complete this added task in 20 minutes. Their price was extremely fair. Based on my experience with my old plumber and others, I was expecting the cost to be about twice what they charged. I am definitely going to use them for any and all plumbing work in the future. They are highly knowledgeable and reliable.

+ -1 moreIt was a tight squeeze, but they managed to replace a leaky outdoor faucet with a more efficient one and added a shut off valve in the house. Came on time, did the job quickly & helped me save money on my water bill, too. Win win!

+ -1 moreAsked Baumann to come give an estimate to relocate some water lines, add drain lines for new sink and laundry, install a new gas line to new gas stove, and to tie all new lines into existing stack. Never showed up for first estimate. Called and appologized the next day (sounded drunk/hungover). Agreed to meet again for the estimate walkthru, and finally showed up late. Professionalism was minimum - was dirty, tracked dirt in house, socially akward, etc. Told me he needed his boss to come take a look before he could give me a quote. So, stupid me, I agreed to set up a second walk-thru with his boss. Boss came in and suggested busting up the concrete floor in the basement to install the new drain line. At that point, I called A Mann Plumbing and Heating and they performed the service beautifully and fast.
Description of Work: Services were to give me a quote to basically install all the plumbing and drainage for a new kitchen. Never performed work because I was so frustrated with their lack of professionalism and promptness during the quote/estimate period.

+ 0 moreMy wife called Baumann plumbing in the evening on a Tuesday, and Gary called back later that night. After I spoke to him, Gary came out that night (at 9:30pm) to look at our lot and we went out with flashlights to get an estimate. Gary gave us a quote of about $1300 for the work. I explained that we were having 3 other companies give estimates the next morning. He offered me to call him with any question regarding the other quotes, even if we did not end up hiring Baumann. Although their price was significantly higher than a few other companies, I did call Gary and he answered many of my questions honestly. I can't commend Gary more for his honesty and candor, even after we decided to hire another company for the job. Every company should model their customer interaction by Gary's example. In the future, I would not hesitate to hire this company for other plumbing work
Description of Work: No work was done. We received an estimate for replacing the gas service line from the street to the house. This was found after Columbia gas came out and unexpectedly shut off our gas service after detecting a leak in our line while doing repairs to a main line near the house.
