"Replacement of 11x12' carpeting. Ed picked up the materials from Home Depot, then removed/hauled away old carpet and padding, and installed new of both. He also re-stretched an area in the hallway that had become loose from repeated shampooing (dog accidents). He swept after removal and vacuumed after installation, and also took the carpet remnant down to the basement for me. I hired him for this after he did a good job with another carpet's repair (burn holes), and intend to use him again in the coming weeks to remove/replace carpet in another room. (Couldn't do them both at the same time -- too much furniture, too little storage space.) He's prompt, friendly, and responds very well to web messages and phone calls."

They came over very quickly to look our water damage & figure out where the water was coming from. They quoted a great price to replace our 20 year old roof and communicated with us on all aspects of replacing the roof, giving us samples of roof colors, etc. Our new roof was installed yesterday in one day, by their very professional workers, with Frisby showing us photos of roof damage/repairs throughout the day!! "I had an absolutely terrible experience with Widmer’s Area Rug Cleaners. I entrusted them with 2 large area rugs for professional cleaning, and they managed to ruin one of them. When I finally received my rugs back after 6 weeks—far beyond the promised 2-3 weeks—I was horrified to find bright blue spots all over one of the rugs. When I contacted the company about this issue, they had the audacity to claim that these spots were already there before they took my rugs. This is an outright lie. My rugs were in excellent condition, without any blue spots, before I handed them over for cleaning. The delay in returning my rugs and the blatant dishonesty about the damage they caused are unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering using Widmer’s Cleaners for their rugs to look elsewhere. Their lack of professionalism, integrity, and care for their customers' belongings is appalling. Unless you want to risk them being returned in worse condition than when you sent them out."
