Ed's Professional Carpet Installation

He was professional, kind, on-time and called on his way so that I will be ready. I highly recommend them. Everything was perfect when he was done.

Ed retrieved the carpet from Home Depot, saving me their delivery cost. He removed the old carpet and padding, then installed new. He swept the bare floor before installing the pad, and vacuumed the carpet when the job was completed. All told, it took him about 2 hours. However, he didn't have to install tacking strips (since the room had already been carpeted), so if your job needs those, it would take longer. Friendly, courteous, prompt.

Replacement of 11x12' carpeting. Ed picked up the materials from Home Depot, then removed/hauled away old carpet and padding, and installed new of both. He also re-stretched an area in the hallway that had become loose from repeated shampooing (dog accidents). He swept after removal and vacuumed after installation, and also took the carpet remnant down to the basement for me. I hired him for this after he did a good job with another carpet's repair (burn holes), and intend to use him again in the coming weeks to remove/replace carpet in another room. (Couldn't do them both at the same time -- too much furniture, too little storage space.) He's prompt, friendly, and responds very well to web messages and phone calls.

Ed agreed to pick up the carpet from Home Depot and arrived in a timely manner. He did not have the best quality carpet to work with but made the best of the situation. (He had nothing to do with the carpet order from a local store.) We were very pleased with Ed's work and definitely would hire him again.

Ed was very responsive to emails and phone calls. It took him about a week to get time for this minuscule job, but that's understandable. Work took less than an hour. Both he and his helper son were very pleasant.

Ed was first to call me back & quoted a reasonable fee & came the next day. He cut out damaged section & put in a new piece from leftovers I saved. You can hardly see the seams. He also fixed a seam I didnt like from previous installer.

Couldn't have gone better. Ed to me was the perfect contractor. His work was reasonably priced and he was here when he said he would be. I would not hesitate to use Ed's services again or recommend him to anyone who needed carpet services. His service is much better than any 'box' store could provide.

Ed called me the same day I contacted him. We had a major issue with our carpet on the second floor. He came and gave a bid the same day. We scheduled the work and he showed up on time and ready to go the following Monday. The work was done expertly and cleanly. I would definitely hire him again. Easy to talk to and get along with and a fair and honest communicator. Great work.

Ed did a Phenomenal job! I found Ed on Angie's List. I called him after I caught the Home Depot installer stealing from me. He came the next day and picked up where the others had left off. He was punctual and very professional. He did an excellent job for a fair price. I would definitely use him again!

Great he did a great Job ! We had pulled our carpet back due to a malfuntioning sump pump. And we needed it to be reinstalled. I called him, he called back in a timely manor. We set up an appointment. He told me at the time of the call he was pretty busy, but he still squeezed me in. My job was not a huge job so I was thrilled he would even do it. I will recommend him and I would use him again.

Ed went above and beyond my expectations. There was a little miscommunication on my end and Ed took care of it anyway. He does quality work for a great price and he is so easy to deal with. I actually will be writing another review for the work he is doing today because I hired him for another job. I won't ever go anywhere else and neither should you.

Service was outstanding! From the first phone call to the end of the install. Ed was a pleasure to deal with and a true professional. This is how a contractor should perform a job. We actually paid him more than he quoted simply because of his professionalism.
