"Kenny was on time, professional, and courteous. He quickly diagnosed the issue with my toilet. Completed the repair in under an hour and charged me less than his original online estimate as the job was less involved than originally quoted. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend his services."

"All I can say is I was WOWED by their professionalism and outstanding customer service! We bought our home 5 years ago and didn't really know the condition of the sewer line. We didn't have a clog but wanted to do preventative maintenance on the line. They were prompt and respectful, and communicated well on what they doing to do. I had no idea the main sewer line could be cleaned by going through the stack on the roof, but they explained they like to do it this way if possible to keep the customer's home inside clean. They even checked the basement when they were finished to make sure everything was good. After inspecting our main sewer line with their camera, they informed me that our line was pretty clean and said they really didn't feel it needed to be cleaned. But I asked them to do it because we didn't know when it had ever been cleaned. They also inspected the line again when they were done. I would highly recommend anyone needing any of the services provided by these two brothers to give them a call. We have only been in Elyria for 5 years and don't know any local plumbers, so we decided to check with Home Advisor. Jacob contacted us promptly and gave us a quote over the phone. I also called a few more plumbing companies, some wanted to charge a service call to come out before they could tell us how much it would cost to clean our line. It was a welcome surprise when they were finished with the job, the price was $100 less than quoted! Who does that these days? I look for these brothers to do well in their business if they treat everyone of their customers like they treated us. They will definitely be blessed for their honesty and courtesy. Keep up the good work guys!"

"Tom has done an amazing job on our property. He has helped us for the past three years on major projects such as drainage around our house, digging a pond, reshaping around 2 acres of our land, removing large trees. The list goes on. He is consistent and gives good communication. I have had bad luck going with large, multi branch companies for renovation projects. Tom has solved this with his reliability and extensive knowledge. He’s been invaluable to remodeling our 150 year old farm house."

Repair Sewer Line questions, answered by experts

Some of the most common plumbing problems in mobile homes are frozen pipes, leaking pipes, clogged drains, and low pressure. Since the pipes in a mobile home aren’t as insulated as those in a standard build, they’re more susceptible to fluctuating temperatures and damage.

While some chemical drain cleaners with hydrochloric acid can dissolve hair, this method is not recommended as it can also destroy your plumbing pipes. A common DIY alternative is using baking soda and vinegar, which can help break down the clog but will not actually dissolve the hair. The best and safest method for clearing a hair clog is to remove it manually. You can use a drain snake, a straightened wire hanger with pliers to fish out the clog, or have a plumber use a professional auger for more severe blockages.

No, you should not see water in a sewer cleanout. If you do, it could indicate that you have a block or leak in your main sewer line—which can cause sewage to back up inside your home and potentially flood your yard. Your best bet is to call a local sewer cleaner if you notice any water or sewage around your cleanout.

With a one-way cleanout, you can access your sewer line from one direction. Depending on the way it curves, a plumber can either access the side of the pipe that goes into your home or the side that goes to your yard. On the other hand, two-way cleanouts allow pros to access both sides of the sewer line, thanks to their dual-pipe design (they’re usually U-shaped).

If you want to avoid using a snake to unclog a drain, or if you don’t have one, try vinegar and baking soda. Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 cup of white vinegar. Wait for 15 minutes, and then run hot water (but not boiling water) down the drain to see if the clog is clear. Repeat multiple times as needed.
