"Installation manager Steve and assistant Dawn O'Neil came to our residence December 30, 2015 & provided estimate on new floors ($4,509.27) & also an estimate on stretching some existing carpeting in two areas  ($184.95). We called February 5, 2016 requesting they come to stretch the carpeting.  We would  consider the new floors at at later date.
On the phone call to order the job, Steve indicated that it was "company policy" to get half of the money----$92.47--- upfront, over the phone, before they would return to stretch the carpeting.
 I told him I would pay him in full as soon as they showed up at the house---even offered $190----but since there were no materials involved for them to purchase, we would  pay in full when they show up, even before they start the job..  He refused to do that, so we cancelled the order. 
Instead of possibly spending $4,509.27 later---which would have been a distinct possibility---we won't deal with this company now...... We feel they may have just "cut off their nose to spite their face" because of this lack of flexibility in dealing with us

"Pat arrived promptly at the time she said she would.  We toured my home and she gave me feedback on each room as we went, asking great questions about how the rooms are used and what I would like them to be.  She really looked at what I have, how I live, my choices in art.  She also really listened to what I had to say.  By the time we sat down at the table over coffee, she already had wall colors in mind.  We discussed the color for each room and how the color scheme would fit with what I have and how I could re-purpose some things. She made some window treatment suggestions and suggested some paint brands, paint stores, painters, and an antique store I might enjoy.
