Bill (owner) came out to give me a quote on installing a fence across the back and down one side of my back yard.  He took measurements, gave me advice on the type of materials that could be used, and gave me a quote on the spot.  Shortly afterward I accepted the quote and told them that I was waiting on the removal of some stumps from diseased trees that were removed earlier (hence the fence!).  Bill gave me a time line of a few weeks out, but actually started in a couple days.  The fence was up before I knew it, and the price was as quoted.   Can't ask for much more than that!

The quality of the workmanship from Joe & the crew were beyond my  expectations. When there were areas that needed changed from the initial proposal they provided their own ideas without adding incremental cost. They finished the job within 6 weeks, about a week longer than anticipated due to inspections, but still managed to meet our desire to have the basemant finished before Xmas. I would reccommend them for general remodeling projects to anyone looking for good quality work at a reasonable price.

They responded quickly to my request for an estimate.  The actual work started a week later.   Only one worker did all the work.  It took him 3 days to power wash both sides of the wooden fence, then one day to stain it and do the concrete work.   He was very meticulous and cleaned up after himself.   The fence looks beautiful--like a totally different fence.   Before he started, it was all grey and mildew, now it's a pretty reddish-brown cedar color.   The price was probably more than I could have paid if I'd been patient and gotten more estimates, but I'm so happy with the result that I don't really mind.

Walt and his crew of three were very professional from start to finish.  We were amazed how Walt would have his hand on his chin, developing the project in his head and making it come to life in front of our eyes.  They were on time everyday and even worked in rain.

Everything went well from estimate to finish.  The crew, Larry and Bill, finished all work in two weeks! They were as clean and efficient as possible, friendly and punctual.  I would definitely use the again!  All steps were explained in advance, and questions, addressed well.

10-3-12 Bill Holloway came out and gave us an estimate. The work was completed within a few weeks. We noticed that the workers did not power wash first. I asked about it and was told there was no need to do it with this product. The workers rolled on the product but did not use the roller suggested by the manufacturer. Also, our agreement was for two coats. I again questioned the worker and he said "I am putting on two coats as I go." The result after a month was peeling and breaking off of cement areas. We saw Bill at the Feb home show and told him what happened. He said they would contact us for repair. We called and called and called. An appointment was set up with the original guy...who was not honest with us. however, he did not show. i called the office 30 min. after his arrival time and left a message. I got a call from the guy 10 min. later saying he couldn't make it.I finally sent Bill pictures of our pavement. We got a response.
Bill came out and looked at the damaged areas. He agreed to send out a worker to do it "right." now it is June...still trying to get it fixed. Bill sets up a time but then cancels claiming that his company is going on a sabbatical. Finally...June 21 and a guy comes out. He has a brand new power washer. He washes the areas down to remove the peeling product. He says he will use a wire brush too but never did. He starts rolling it on but later starts pouring the product on the pavement and spreading it. He leaves the next day saying he is done but ran out of product. What a disaster!!!!! Uneven color, no edging done, product is krackling everywhere, he did not sand the filled in areas so it is very rough.
Bill came out again and agreed that the job was shabby.  In the end, he sent out a fourth guy who finally knew how to apply the product and fix the problems.  It was just finished yesterday.  The pavement looks good.  However, the third guy sent out got the product on our pool edging and it will not come off.  We will have to live with that one but overall, we are relieved that Bill worked with us in the end and got the situation resolved.

Poor communication throughout the job. The inspector had to come out several times due to failed inspections and poor planning. Nothing was covered and our exercise equipment was covered in dust. Also, there was spackle on some of the equipment. There was a hole that went through to our living room, they fixed it, but the paint does not match. The spackle going down the stairs was poorly done. Due to the inspector coming out several times, the finish date was off by 2 weeks or more.

They gave us a good estimate, kept to it, and kept in contact with us throughout.  My wife changed her mind about several design particulars and they were able to accommodate her without delay or added expense.  We were surprised how much cedar lumber cost, but to be fair, the contractor cannot control the price of materials.  His labor rates were fair.  Overall, an excellent job.

The workers did a great job. The quality was great. There seems to be a disconnect between the office staff and the workers.  The workers were not advised by gentleman who did estimate of where the fence was to go or what color the fence was to be painnted. Because of the communication failure the fence was painted the wrong color

Ultimate Concepts came out on time and completed the work in the set timeframe of three days.  The had to do tree stump ginding in order to ensure that our new fence would not be damaged by roots.  We did not have any problems with this company.  Their quality of work was pretty good and it came out looking how we expected.  They also did a great job of cleaning up after themselves.

I am not sure what the problem was in the fall of 2011, but I had man come out to do an estimate on buildling me a fence and he never gave me the estimate. I called again but nothing happened.
A few months later as I became more serious about building the fence, I called again.  THe owner of the company came out and gave me an estimate. At that time, they were courteous and professional.   I really liike the company and learned that I might hire Ultimate concepts to do other projects for me.   Unfortunately, his fence quote was too expensive for me.
I did hire the company solve a problem that I had in the basement. My floor was not level and the owner of the company had an idea of building me a base to put my washer and dryer on.  He sent his  handyman whom they call Munch.  Munch was courteous and friendly. I enjoyed working with him. THe experience went well.  I would consider calling them again for other projexts.

I had a very strict budget for the project and they worked with me to find the fencing options within that budget. It did take them near a month to get out and do the project, but they did a very nice job. They even replaced some of the hardware on an existing fence for no charge. They did a nice job cleaning up and I am very satisfied with the final product.

They did work late until eight pm and came early at seven am. Some ways they were lazy. We wanted a half inch space space between the boards. He had a tool to make the space three quarters and make it easy for him. He talked me into it. My husband talked to him after me and told him we wanted half inch before they started. They installed it with a three quarter space anyway. They were also supposed the install an eight foot wide gate so we could drive a car through it. They installed a smaller gate. We talked to the owner and he said that he was not aware that we wanted to do that. We did discussed this in the original meeting for the quote. What they installed was not what they said and not what was part of the quote. He said they can not take all of the boards off to correct it. The owner offered us a gift certificate to a restaurant then he offered to help paint the fence for us. They were less expensive than the other four bids we received and did good work. It does look nice if you look at it. It just is not what we asked for. I would recommend them for the work, but I would worn them that they did cut corers and did not follow out instructions.

Ultimate Concepts is a terrible company.  Period.  To Ray (march 25, 2012) if you would like to come see our sink hole from them, feel free to come on over.  If I could give them less than a one star, I would.  They have a great sales pitch, but don't follow up with it.  We were to get a composite deck built in '10.  First of all, they promised it would be completed by May.  They didn't start digging until the first week of May.  Then they disconnected our sump pump and failed to inform us.  That day, it rained a lot.  When I got home, our sump pump was pouring water right into the hole they just dug. This caused a huge gaping hole next to our foundation.  (Fortunately, our sump pump wasn't ruined.)  Then they didn't return for weeks, so the holes they dug didn't pass the a county auditor's inspection.  We sat with very dangerous holes in our yard for over 6 weeks!  We had to warn our neighbors who had small children to stay away from our back yard and my husband had to force Ultimate Concepts to come out and put caution tape around it.  The holes continued to fill with water each time they drained, so the inspector would not pass them.  We worked directly with the owner who decided they would NOT FINISH THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  He said we had a drainage problem.  He sent out guys to empty the holes of water and fill them in with fill dirt.  They did NOT EMPTY THE WATER and just threw top soil in, so we had 5 huge sink holes in our yard.  This was MORE dangerous than the open holes, because our grass had been placed over them.  My husband had to pull up our newly laid sod and fill the holes with fill dirt.  Also, the gaping hole on the side of the house continues to sink to this day, so we now (2 years later) have to have someone come out and fix what they could not. They ended up returning our money, but it will cost us money each time we have to repair our yard. We ended up having another company come out and do our deck.  They had no problems and also informed us that we indeed did NOT have a drainage problem.  We will use them again to fix the damage that Ultimate Concepts' negligence continues to create.  This company is more than just a bad company, they are negligent.  In fact, if I had the time and resources, I would have sued them for their negligence just to keep them from screwing over other customers.  We tell everyone not to use them when ever we see their ads on our mailboxes in the neighborhood.

We contacted Ultimate Concepts about doing a deck and fence at our home.  The beginning of the processes started out great!  The salesman came out and showed us the prepared book about how great the company is and how great the work was.  He explained to us that they only use the best wood, and it would never come from Lowes or Home Depot.  He talked about the extra training they make their employees go through, specifically specialized training in decks and fences.  He explained how all the employees were employed by the company and they never used subcontractors.Everything was great.....until....lowes showed up to drop the wood off.  This immediately brought some concerns to our eyes because we were specifically told that the wood they used was of the highest quality and they would never buy from that store, but whatever, we didn't care wood is wood right!  The next day the guy shows up to install the deck in our backyard.  I begin talking to him, only to find out he was subcontracted to do the work, and that they are required to wear "Ultimate Concept" shirts when they are on a job for them.  It was however plain as day that he does his own work because his truck had his business logos on it.  The next week same thing with the fence people.  They were subcontractors sent to do the job on behalf of Ultimate Concepts.

As far as the Deck goes, we are tearing it down.  The deck is clearly slanted back towards to the house (You can see it by looking at it), which causes rain water to drain toward the foundation.  The craftsmanship of the deck is subpar.  The step that goes from the deck to the ground isn't attached very well to the structure of the deck.  When you step down on it the whole step moves.  It was toe nailed to the frame.

As far as the fence goes, the crew came out and dug all the holes, only to figure out they dug the holes in the wrong spots.  Now we have holes in our yard that were never filled in.  The quality of the fence isn't bad.  The subcontractors did come out and replace the hinge on the gate.  I just contacted them directly to do that.

It became apparent to me that Ultimate Concepts has a business model that uses high pressure sales to get people to commit.  They have a bunch of subcontractors they contract to do jobs and call them their employees while they are contracted.  Even the contractors they hired were talking bad about the company.

Some of our other neighbors have used them and feel the same way about the company as we do.
