"If you need to do a remodeling project in your home THIS is the guy you need to use!! He does ALL the work himself (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc...). He did an AMAZING job and his price was more than reasonable. He is very reliable and he is meticulous with the work he does. He did 2 bathroom remodels in our home which he gutted and started from scratch. They both turned out beautiful (tile, flooring, cabinet install, plumbing, lighting etc..) and he does all the work himself!! He showed up on time everyday and he was a pleasure to have around! My dogs even loved him! He also remodeled our den and installed hardwood floors on our first floor. The work turned out beautiful and we are soo happy! We plan to use him again in the future to remodel our master bath and our basement. He was highly recommended from a few of my husbands co-workers who have also used him for many home remodel projects and were very happy with the quality/price of his work. After using a local "Remodeling Company" for our kitchen a few years back, I can't tell you how happy we were to find Greg of H&B Construction. "The end quality and workmanship was great! The only draw back was the height of the splash guards a bit too high. The counter got installed by the splash guards had to be trimmed and installed a few days later. Carlton does great work and delivered in the end a good installation."

"I wanted straighter/level deck & edges of a 97 year old slate roof before removing the slate, replacing the deck, and replacing the slate with asphalt shingle. My thought was to prop low spots in the wavy front edge in front, and prop the sagging corners in back; then, to build triangular braces similar to one extant on the house, like many on houses of similar age and design in the neighborhood. The idea of propping the low spots was dismissed, discussed again, and eventually dismissed as unnecessary; the low spots were forced up by hand, and fascia boards attached. While I was told the weight of the new roof might drop the level of the low spots again, this may have been more than anticipated; in retrospect it may have been preferable to force the low spots higher than could be done by hand, as the discrepancies from linear in the edges of the roof have, I think, caused inability to properly interface the drip edges and guttering at many places. I would though hire Dave's again."
