"If you need to do a remodeling project in your home THIS is the guy you need to use!! He does ALL the work himself (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc...). He did an AMAZING job and his price was more than reasonable. He is very reliable and he is meticulous with the work he does. They both turned out beautiful (tile, flooring, cabinet install, plumbing, lighting etc..) and he does all the work himself!! He showed up on time everyday and he was a pleasure to have around! "Ultimately, I was happy with the results. But there were multiple challenges with the project. We wanted to partially remodel two bathrooms. For bathroom #1, we were replacing the tub/shower; replacing the vanity, mirror, and medicine cabinet; installing new lights and fan; and smoothing a textured ceiling. For bathroom #2, we were replacing a tub (only); replacing the vanity, mirrors, and medicine cabinet; installing new lights and fan; and smoothing a textured ceiling. The bathrooms had to be done in sequence since we needed one working bathroom. The sales process went fine. Contract signed in April. Work started at the end of June. Work was completed in mid October. The materials used were good: We like the vanity, and the countertop (from Granite Direct) is fine. There were three main problems: 1. Scheduling/staffing. I appreciate that the project manager accommodated our schedules. But the company (like many others) is short-handed. So there were many days were someone would be on site for an hour or two, and then not back again for several days. This project should not have taken 3.5 months to complete. (One example of the slowness: It took something like 8 days to install subway tile in one bath area. That was one person, working 3-4 hours per day. And no one else was working on anything else at that time.) 2. Communication. The communication between SemBro and us was good. But the communication among workers was poor. In many cases, we had to tell the workers what they needed to do—project details had not been communicated. There were also issues in which the company had not acquired (or even ordered) the parts we needed, which caused delays. 3. Skill level. This might be the case with many contracting firms, but few of the individual workers were skilled in the tasks they had to perform. We didn't have plumbers or electricians; we had people who generally understood how to hook up a sink or install a light. As a result, there were several problems. For example, the first tub was hooked up incorrectly. And it leaked into a third, downstairs bathroom, ruining the ceiling and walls. SemBro repaired that ceiling and wall (which I appreciate), but I still had to repaint everything, and of course, there were delays and inconveniences as the project now covered a third bathroom. Another example: One team installed the wrong kind of lights in one bathroom. And while doing so, they carved holes in the drywall that were too large. They later tried to "fix" this with calk. I had to remove the caulk, then patch and repaint the ceiling. Later, I will hire an actual electrician to install different lights. Another example: The sink in bathroom #1 leaked after installation. Another example: The sinks in bathroom #2, which had been off for more than a month (because of project delays), clogged and leaked. I called in a plumber and drain un-clogger. (The clog is not strictly SemBro's fault, but if the sink had not been off for a month, it might not have happened.) Toward the end of the project, it seemed like each time a team arrived, one task would be completed and another problem would be created. So, again, happy with the results. But after more than a quarter of a year working on this project, it's difficult to recommend SemBro."

"Mark and his crew did a great job on our 4 seasons room. We needed extra space and they did quality, professional work at a competitive price. Their price includes everything and there are no "hidden" costs or gimmicks. The room is well-insulated with real windows and the HVAC unit keeps it plenty warm in the winter for true year-round use. We had some delays in construction because of COVID, but any time there was a problem Mark addressed it immediately and made sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend the Patio Room Factory!"

"Project was a long one. Gutted just about 1/3 of the house, top to bottom. Removed a wall to create more open space for a off kitchen dinning area. Removed all ceiling and wall drywall along with the old cellulose insulation in ceiling area. Ed found a problem with the ceiling rafters/joist that was not properly supported so they had to cut in, add joist hangers and put in a pair of new stringers for the support. Ed and Tom put in new insulation in the walls and ceiling. Re-worked the electrical with new lines, boxes, outlets and also ran 4 new lines from the breaker box. They added some additional boxes for ceiling lights and for a garbage disposal. Removed all the old interior door and replaced with solid oak doors. Tom did a fine job at finishing the doors, 9 doors total. All new door trim and base board added, again they was finished by Tom. All new drywall put in, 40, 12ft. sheets. All new Armstrong Alterna floor tile was put down on top of new laminate floor sheeting. Tile was adhesive glued, butt jointed with no grouting in diamond pattern. Walls and ceilings was painted. New kitchen cabinets installed on feet with no toe kick. Ed reworked some of the plumbing to accommodate a new built in dishwasher. Installed new 36inch Range hood for the new Thor gas range/oven. Ed also replace old bathroom fan and that was a big improvement. Ed also made a new pantry area with a frosted glass pantry door installed. Ed reframed a wall to accept a 36 inch frig and recessed it so it would be flush mounted with the kitchen cabinets. Ed and Tom also in one day built a new front patio deck with new railing. Removal of the old cement stoop was hard and a electric jack hammer was rented to finish with. Ed skirted the new deck with the same vinyl siding that they installed last year on the house. Very nice curb appeal now. As I said before this was a big job, and the work shows excellent results. I would like to also say thank you to the following vendors.. Dianna at Famous Supply@Newark for the design and cabinets. Granville lumber for the nice wood and railing for the deck. Cambria countertops for the beautiful countertop in the Lancaster design."
