"My chest freezer broke down and I did not want to buy a new one since I could not afford the same size. I reached out to appliance parts pro and they were confident that what I ordered would fix my problem. $200 in parts later and I now have a broken freezer on my porch and am still paying the loan to this terrible company. They just want you to order parts and try them because they know you can't return them. I hate this company with every fiber of my being and will make sure that anyone that has a broken appliance will not use them. To top it off, their site is so screwed up that it give you an error trying to log back in. I ended up having to create THREE different accounts because every time I went to place a new order, it would not let me login and it would not send a password reset email. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF."

"We spent years limping along with a finicky old stove while we tried in vain to find someone to repair it. It was leaking gas, the oven door didn’t quite close, the pilots didn’t work, but we loved it and refused to give up on it. Then we found The Stove Lady aka Belgrove appliance. Our stove is back and it is in perfect working condition, everything is fixed and it is squeaky clean. We are delighted. Carlita is conscientious, professional, fair, and kind. "Things are great when you're in contract. Post-contract customer service is utterly disappointing. My husband and I decided to go with NDA after speaking with multiple contractors. NDA was the most expensive option, but they were also the most thorough and professional. NDA's contract is extremely detailed in regards to material and pricing. Their designer, John Nelson, is amazing. Big shout out to John for designing a beautiful and functional kitchen. He took the time to design a great dining area while other contractors simply wanted to keep the old layout and slap on new cabinets. The workers on-site were efficient and diligent about keeping the place as clean as possible. The one major complaint I have is the grout and caulk work - both in the kitchen and the bathroom. The caulk between the backsplash and countertop has separated - for the second time now. Grout in multiple areas of the bathroom developed a crack. The grout at one corner of my bathroom window is cracked and yellowing. Our major concern is possible mold, which is a pain to remedy. We've reached out to NDA about these issues several times since November. They still haven't been able to resolve the issue. There's a general reply about checking worker schedules or reviewing the request but NO follow through. This has been very frustrating. Based on these events, I would not recommend or use NDA again for future projects."

"I haven't used the appliance in the six years since my wife passed away, but when I looked inside one day, I found an inch of standing water in it. Long story short, the repairman found the intake valve was leaking, and since I no longer have need for the dishwasher, he went to the basement and found the appropriate shutoff valve, came up, spun out the standing water, and all's well. You might say that he didn't fix the dishwasher. He didn't. He fixed the problem. IL don't worry about harboring a mold factory, and go on cleaning my few dishes the old fashioned way."

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

Two days later it was installed by two lovely gentleman who explained exactly how to use my new-fangled machine. "Purchased a large Friedrich AC window unit without a hitch from P.C. Richards by telephone. Was looking for a transom installation of unit, which is the top half of the window. I usually use a specialist because retailers only advertize standard window (lower half) installations. Salesman said he never heard of transom installations, but found the option on their computer system and set it up. Unit was delivered on time, but communication breakdown occurred between store and installer, who expected to install in lower half and didn't have the parts for transom installation. Followed up with salesman and was assured problem would be rectified. We rescheduled for a few days later and the unit was installed appropriately without a hitch. I wasn't too upset as most retailers don't do transom installations as they are more difficult (and more expensive) to do. So this was a special request of sorts. I prefer the transom mounts because you can still open and close the window and can leave the unit in all year. The Friedrich AC unit itself is fine, though I've noticed some deterioration in Friedrich quality over the years as I've replaced other units. Cooling is fine, though a noticeable clicking occur, which appears related to the thermostat. Louvers also rattle a bit when the compressor is running. Rattle disappears when plastic cover is removed."
