Larry previously fixed my dishwasher, so I called him to fix my broken freezer. He told me the evaporator fan motor needed to be replaced, but after he replaced the freezer it still did not work. Therefore, he told me he would refund most of the approximately $400 I paid him, but it has been nearly two months and he has not refunded payment or responded to texts asking when he will refund. His misdiagnosis also caused us to go an extra two weeks with a broken freezer, since we canceled our appointment with the manufacturer’s repairer once he told us it was a small job he could fix. However, the freezer ended up requiring a new compressor.

Larry did a few things when he was here for a reasonable price but my main issue is/was the wine fridge. He determined it needed a new controller and it took a few weeks to get agreement that he would order it. He said it would be 2 week and it has now been 6 weeks and he has not returned any of my calls over the last 4 weeks.

There was a question about the vents not being cleaned properly but maintenance stood their ground that they had cleaned it. So the dryer was running dangerously hot. So went to Angies' List to find a repairman which I chose Best Appliance Repair. He went straight to work after listening to the problem. He took the dryer apart to check for lint . After his check up,he declared that the dryer was clean and in good shape. Then he checked the vent and it was so full of lint that it looked like gray snow. It could have started a serious fire. I was so glad that I chose this company. He was very professional and straight forward.

First service call came out on time. Did not fix dryer. Cleaned vent which did not take care of the problem. Called back, came out again said it was the vent. Third time same thing. The second and third time he did not charge me. Gave him another chance and then never called back.

They initially came out to fix my stove. They had to order parts. When they received the parts they came out to fix it. The stove hasn't worked since then. Larry came back out and said he would send his helper out on Monday. When the helper came out Monday he wasn't able to fix it either. Now my calls are not being answered nor returned.

The repairs were done but the cost was double the estimated price. I would have thought twice about just purchasing new machines if I had known what the end cost was going to be.

Excellent. They responded quickly to our call, came out and diagnosed the problem and got the refrigerator working again until the parts needed arrived, then came out and put in the new components.

Technician diagnosed the problem and asked if we wanted to replace the part. Since we never use the door lock, we asked him just to cut the wires so the buzzing noise stopped. He completed the job.

Extremely well. Called in the AM, received a call back and set up a time later the same day. The technician called before he left for my home to make sure I would be there. He was professional, polite and knowledgeable. They had the part I needed in the van. It was installed immediately and now it is like a new dryer. Highly recommend.

Technician came and took a look. Said it would be a new motor and I would be better off buying a new one than getting it repaired. In the meantime it still works and he adjusted it for now so it wouldn't be as noisy. He only charged me the service charge. I appreciate the honest assessment and the handling of the fees.
