Terrible! The roof was not installed properly and I have lost about three quarters of the shingles. The company has refused to reimburse me all the money I have spent to have rerpairs

Was supposed to develop an estimate which never was done. Called and e-mailed several times and got no response.

first estimate was detailed and fixed price. All through the job workers would give me a hard time about correcting work they completed that was not installed properly. Throughout the rest of the work being done Bill Shingledecker one of the owners kept stalling about the rest of the estimate. He had agreed to a certain price for the paint job throughout the house. For weeks I asked him for details on the Bill -- said I should talk to Adam -- then came to my home with a yellow-lined paid and wrote out the costs of job -- told me to write the check out to and quot;cashand quot;.....he changed his mind about prices; he came to the house with a total for the front steps )3 steps, 3 feet wide with railings and a 4 x 3 deck on timeand quot;.....hands me a sheet of paper with $4800. I refused to pay that amount and gave him less than half. I knew the cost of the materials and railings -- the railings were only 3.5 feet long on each side of the front steps and the cost of the decking. That was the second time that he tried to make a fool out of me AND the second time he wanted the check made out to and quot;cashand quot; and I refused. My cousin was here (not involved in the oral arguments) BUT I REFUSED TO PAY THIS MAN The day workers came for front steps he was supposed to have brought a written estimate -- the 2 men started the work but Bill did not come with the estimate. It was obvious that his ploy is to come with the detailed list/charges for the job and they are inflated and when you get the charges down then he agrees to accept what you'll pay after he's inflated the bill. I had never ever dealt with contractors on my own and I'm alone here and this man and his company took advantage of me every chance he could until my cousin went over things with me when he was able to. I have no family or kiids this makes it harder but I learned!

We ultimately selected another contractor to do the work, but the estimator from Fand D was very professional, punctual and gave the impression that Fand D really cares about the quality of their work. The price was a bit higher than other contractors who bid for the work, but not unreasonably so.

They did everything that the contract stated, on time and as quoted. Would highly recommend these folks.

A friend referred me to this group and after meeting with them knew they could help me and my house. They scheduled the workers, informed me of times and dates, staff were professional and excellent at their jobs. The memories are so painful all the time and tears I lost with SEARS destroying my home, need reliability -call F and D consstruction.

aside from being left behind for a few months ....all was done well ,and the after sale service was timely and done well

The entire old bathroom was torn out: cabinets, tub, floor, walls and ceiling, then the new bathroom was created, from insulation to drywall to all the new cabinets, tile and fixtures. The workers were open to my comments and suggestions on minor changes as the work progressed. The workers were very neat, laying drop cloths from the front door to the bathroom, and cleaning up every night before leaving. Every night I was left with a working toilet, as it is the only bathroom in the house! The only negative I have is that it took so long to get the job started. I signed the contract and sent in a deposit in September, but work did not start until February 15 (hence the "B" grade for punctuality).

PROJECT QUOTED AND CONTRACTED BUT NEVER STARTED OR FINISHED.

F and D Construction always arrived when they said they would. They didn't over charge me and they were very nice and courteous. I was very satisfied with their work.

We hired F and D Construction for a different job and I liked him so well I called him to do my siding. He does very good work. He also installed one window for me.

F and D Construction did everything we agreed to in a professional and courteous way.
