- American Air Conditioning & Restoration, LLCarrived at the apointed time. assesed the whole job and explained what he was going to do. removed all the grates to the heat and return ducts. hooked up the vacumn to the ducts and sweep the ducts to remove the contaminates. went outside and opened up the air handler and cleaned all parts to remove dirt and debris. replaced pieces of insulation in unit as needed, and replaced the covers and made sure there were no screws missing. went inside and cleaned all the air returns for the unit. cleaned and replaced all the grates on the air piping. vacumned all the floors and carpets to remove any debris that fell out of the grates. started the air handler and checked for leaks and made sure the job was all completed. the service man was MICHAEL PAGANO, a very competent and intuitive man. he was very professional and went out of his way to make the experience as informative and easy for us

"Brian was very professional and friendly. We needed to replace the A/C that died after 36 years. Since the furnace is 39 years old and has occasionally had it's flame blown out on windy, winter days, we decided to replace this at the same time. Our online research advised this also since you save on labor costs when that dies too. Brian gave us every option available and never pushed the more expensive ones. He, in fact, said we didn't need the more expensive units, that the middle options best fit our needs according to his meticulous calculations. We made our decision and we will also get a $500 NYSEG rebate as well as a $300 tax credit. I was so worried about the cost of such a project initially, but it was less than I had imagined especially with the rebates. And, there's the peace of mind I have that there's two things I won't have to worry about anymore.

"Sullivan Heating and Cooling replaced my 22 year old Heil Furnace with a Trane 96% Efficient Two Stage Furnace. From the initial estimate with Jerry, phone calls with Christine and ultimately the install with Technicians Maria and Corey, I have to say it was a smooth and hassle free experience. Techs Maria and Corey arrived on time and were very pleasant, professional and obviously competent. "My basement started leaking water and there was mold. I called three contractors from Angie's List and all three quotes were very different and work required ranged from $10,000 to $35,000. One company wanted to jack hammer the entire basement floor and excavate the around the house. Needless and expensive. Ken Bird, owner of CMI Comprehensive Mold Mgmt Inc., however, was professional, explained what needed to be done, provided a fair quote and offered financing information if I was interested. This was the only company who recommended a NY State Licensed 3rd party certification, and guaranteed the work for life. I have already recommended this company to a friend with similar basement issues. The Project Manager onsite was Mike, who was professional, courteous and explained the daily progress during the week they were here. The project included: mold removal and remediation, basement waterproofing (walls), new glass block windows and sump pump well replacement. Overall - five stars !

"Excellent experience! Company was very straight forward and very personable during process. Spent a lot of time to explain all options with reasonable costs associated to work needed. Very thoughtful, very clean in area of work being installed. Very thoughtful of new line routing, etc. Explained all steps they were taking and reasons why. Services performed: - Removal of old furnace and a/c coils and associated lines. - Installed new furnace/ humidifier/ filter cartridge/ A/C coil unit (turned out to be culprit for deteriorating furnace) along w/ custom ductwork modifications for new parts. - Update gas line connection. - Installed new PVC piping to exterior. - Installed new condenser, and line to drain. - New thermostat/ humidistat install. "Our basement is old stone foundation with water coming in from the walls, it was determined that we could not waterproof so instead we water mitigated. Frank's installed a waterguard system around the perimeter (including a new sump pump) and a dehumidifier, they have both made a huge difference in the atmosphere of the basement. Both the sales and install crew were great, we had two small follow up items which were handled promptly. We would do business with Frank's again and recommend them for basement water work.
