"I called in Steve Gross, he was out to my home within 2 hours, and within 1 hour of using his special gas detection technique he found that this was not a leak, but a "leach". All those years of valve leak had created a mass of water under my home, and the dug pit provided egress for the trapped water. "Alvin was careful to explain prior to starting work that if he required extra supplies, etc it would be on top of the Angie's price. Also, that there was the possibility that it would not be a simple replacement. I expected that. The replacement turned out to be more complicated than I'd anticipated.
The plumbing pipes for hose bibbs are installed between the vertical studs. There is supposed to be a horizontal cross brace that secures the "inside" part of the bibb  with 2 screws into the wood. Turns out, when the house was built in 1997, no cross bracing was added inside the wall, so the unsupported pipe had been shifting each time we turned the faucet on or off for the past 17 years. So, when he went to remove the outside portion, instead of "unthreading" as it should have,  the copper pipe broke off at the joint inside the wall. In order to complete the repair, Alvin needed to make an access port on the interior wall. He very carefully sawed an 8x8" piece out of the drywall, added a wood cross brace to the existing framing, secured the plumbing pipe to it, then attached the new hose bibb on the outside. After completing the repair, he carefully re-fitted the piece to the wall and used some caulk I had to cover the seam.
We were charged only for the difference in supplies, not for the additional time involved, which I was grateful for. I was also relieved that we had decided to have this done. I hate to think about some day going out to turn the hose on or off and have a fountain inside the wall.
I felt he handled the situation very well, explaining to me along the way what the problem was and how he would fix it.

"The company called me shortly after I bought the "deal"  and I had to get the faucet and then call them back for an appointment.  The technician called to say he could come earlier than I had expected and asked if that would be agreeable.  He introduced himself, told me a bit about the company and about what types of plumbing work they are equipped to do.  The faucet was installed and he cleaned up when he was through.
He was very professional and very likable.  He checked everything out to make sure it was working and there were no leaks.
I was very pleased and would not hesitate to have him back when I have more plumbing work.

Williams Mechanical did an excellent job of educating us about our options.  They worked carefully with our schedule to accommodate some special needs that we had.  The installation was completed efficiently and well.  We had some trouble with the system intermittently shutting down when it was first installed.  The Williams Mechanical personnel worked hard to find the cause and replace the module that was the source of the problem.

"Contractor keep appointment (even though there were 2 or 3 calls expressing confusion about time and day); installed the drywall and cleaned the area.   The drywall installation was not smooth and when textured looked amateurish at best.  Before I could paint I had to sand several areas and apply canned texture-not the most professional look but time was a factor.  the next time the wall is painted will require extensive prep work to make it look professional.
Good things: appointment keep; work was done as explained; no extra charges.
Not so good: Technician was not a drywall guy.

"Jon arrived promptly.  I had bought different switches than those that came with the fans (light plus fan speed on a single switch), but Jon kindly pointed out I didn't need them as I could re-use one of the old light switches for the light and use the packaged fan speed switches.  He also pointed out that the included light bulb was a bit dim, but that I could upgrade it as long as it met the power requirement and fit within the enclosure.
The installations went smoothly and quickly.  Jon even discovered a wiring issue in one of my receptacles where there was a knick in the wire (likely when the house was built).  He fixed it up, likely preventing a potential fire hazard!  Fans are perfectly balanced and look great.
