"They came right over and gave me a reasonable quote. I accepted the quote and s very short time later the trees were gone and all the debris was picked up and hauled away. Excellent work by their workers. Will definitely tell all my neighbors about them!"

"Very good, and very pleased. Cut a number of large trees on 1 acre lot on sloped terrain, trimmed limbs from other trees. Cleaned up very well. Was able to provide quote at end of week, and completed job early next week. They have all the equipment and crew needed, made sure any follow-up work was taken care of. Recommend."

"We had two trees, right on the property line between our house and the next door neighbors. It was a teeny space, but they were able to remove them and stack the wood for our son's fire pit, as requested. They worked quickly and efficiently. The cost was very reasonable. I'd recommend them"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

In Albuquerque, safety during tree service means hiring certified arborists familiar with local tree trimming regulations and hazards. Crews must use personal protective equipment, including UV-blocking gear due to strong sun exposure, and follow OSHA standards. The Albuquerque Parks & Recreation Department recommends avoiding work during high winds and maintaining safe distances from power lines. Emergency plans and knowledge of local tree species' risks are essential for every project.

Helpful?

For Albuquerque tree service projects, use mulch from native species like cottonwood or elm, and select compost or sulfur to adjust the area's alkaline soil. Drip irrigation systems are recommended by the Albuquerque Parks & Recreation Department for water efficiency in the desert climate. Tree wraps and sturdy stakes offer wind protection. Sourcing materials from local nurseries ensures compatibility with regional tree species and growing conditions.

Helpful?

Albuquerque homeowners often encounter extra requirements such as tree removal permit fees, mandatory utility coordination, and specialized disposal for protected tree species. Additional expenses may result from challenging access for equipment or the need for soil amendments due to alkaline conditions. Emergency tree service after storms can require rapid city approval, as noted by the City of Albuquerque Planning Department, which may introduce further steps and considerations.

Helpful?

In Albuquerque, a tree removal permit is required for removing any tree over 6 inches in diameter on private property, as outlined by the City of Albuquerque Planning Department. Work involving public trees or protected native species, such as cottonwoods or desert willows, also requires approval from Albuquerque Parks & Recreation. For tree service near power lines, coordination with the local utility provider is mandatory. Always review city tree trimming regulations before starting any project.

Helpful?

In Albuquerque, frequent mistakes include neglecting to obtain a tree removal permit, over-watering drought-tolerant species, and topping branches, which is discouraged by the City of Albuquerque Planning Department. Ignoring utility line proximity or attempting DIY removal of large trees can be hazardous. Choosing tree species unsuited for the local climate or hiring contractors unfamiliar with city tree trimming regulations often leads to poor long-term results.
