They continued to work Saturday and Monday, and completed building the replacement deck on Tuesday. The new deck and set of stairs seem very safe and they look great! The carpenters who rebuilt this deck were knowledgeable and always very pleasant. They worked through an awful windstorm, but once they started the job their priority was to complete it. We used Boral brand TruExterior® Siding & Trim which was expensive but rot-resistant and, I hope, resistant to carpenter bees. At Joe's suggestion, to save money we pre-painted the boards ourselves. The work was excellent. Joe and his partner personally did the job plus a helper. They were very professional, promptly showed up when promised, worked a long day. Joe was very responsive and gave us a written quote the same day he came to do the estimate. They did a good clean-up. We thought they were a bit expensive but their work was top-notch. We would be happy to hire them again."
