Painting looks great.

Misael Omana, owner of CFI Home Improvement was on time, with in the exact price quoted. He was respectful to my property and clean and tidy. His spackling and painting skills are outstanding! My house ceilings had not been painted for 22 years and he made them look brand new. Misael also replaced an outside storm door, nothing is straight in my 100 year old home, he made the door fit correctly and it seals wonderfully. I highly recommend his work!

I am very pleased with the work Misael did on our bathroom renovation project. He is very precise and skilled at his craft. The project entailed ripping out an existing shower and tile walls that had been damaged by water penetration and installation of new tile and shower. The project also involved an electrician and plumber to install a fan and ductwork and to relocate the drain and replace fixtures. Photos of the completed project demonstrate the quality of Misael's work.

Misael turned our old dingy basement into a warm, inviting space that we'll use for years to come. I interviewed several contractors and none of them conveyed any confidence in the job given that the house was built in the 1880's and nothing is level or straight. Misael, however, was up for the challenge and set expectations early. He was extremely easy to work with and flexible when we had design changes. His workmanship and attention to detail are excellent. We received a ton of compliments on the finished job and lots of requests for his phone number. We'll certainly be using Misael for all our home improvements and thank him enough!

Misael was excellent! He always showed up on time, was neat and clean and organized and got all the work done on time. The quality of the work was excellent as well. So he did a complete gut and remodel of the second floor of my house, which included a full bathroom and tub/shower, 3 bedrooms and an office. Paint, stain, new floors, new ceilings and drywall were only a handful of the things he did. Everything came out splendid. I have 4 cats and he was very accommodating as well. I’d 100% recommend him for other jobs and would 100% hire him to come back and do other jobs on my house!

I've hired Misael several times and I'm very pleased with the outcome as well as Misael's professionalism throughout every project. Estimates are fully documented in line-item form and accurate. Very neat and does his best to minimize impact to daily living. Most recently, we had a basement completely refinished. The job was completed quickly, on budget, and with good quality workmanship. He also had great recommendations for design/materials. Previously, he completed a full bathroom remodel. That was a challenging project for a number of reasons - but Misael persevered through the problems and the resulting bathroom is terrific. I can't recommend CFI enough.

The work was done in a professional manner. Misael is fair, honest and incredibly neat. He and I discussed what I wanted and he found the best match for the replacements. They were installed carefully. He came at the time we agreed upon, and the price was very fair. I had tried one company that wanted more than I thought was fair. Turns out I was right since Misael did the job for around $2000 less than they wanted for just the shower replacement. I will be having him back again after the holidays to do some other work I need done.

We had the most wonderful experience with this company. We desperately wanted our basement finished before the arrival of our second child. Misael got it finished even faster than we anticipated. We couldn’t be happier with how it came out. The price was exactly what was discussed (no hidden costs in the end). We would hire him in again in a heartbeat to do any home renovations.

Misael was excellent in the planning and building of our small bathroom project. Retrofitting is never easy but Misael did an excellent job of maximizing a small space. His craftsmanship and easy manner made it a pleasure to have him in our home.

I am writing this to comment on the work of CFI Home Improvement. I hired Misael to completely remodel my bathroom. First of all, his price was very fair. His work was beyond good and his work ethic was very professional. He took the time to ask my wife what she wanted and gave us great ideas. Even when my wife changed something, he quickly adapted. He came on time and even went to Lowe’s at night getting materials for a change order. I noticed that he took great pride in his tools. He had very good tools and he knew how to use them. He was very clean as he laid down tarps and cleaned up the inside as well as the outside. He worked very hard without really taking anything more than a lunch break. Misael did quality work. His dry walling and laying down of the floor was great. His plumbing and tile skills were just as good. We have no complaints. He chose a great color for the wall paint as well. Misael was really a gentleman as well as a skilled worker. My dog was happy to see him every day too. I got to know him while he was here and I cannot say enough about him. He can be trusted and will do a first class job for you. By all means consider him before you remodel.

It went very well. Misael is very professional and we are extremely pleased with how everything turned out. Our house is very old and so presented a great many complications. Nothing was level and nothing was square so just putting up a new ceiling, floor, and walls was not so simple. Very good value for how much we paid considering the amount of work everything took. The price below included everything except the cost of the tile, tub, vanity, and lighting.

Couldn't have been any better! I got estimates from 6 different contractors. From beginning to end MIsael was the most responsive and pleasant. Every email or text answered. Stairs turned out to be all different sizes which added on time to the job. You'd never know they were an issue. They look perfect. All touch up paint done. Price was very fair. The work came out perfect. After they cleaned up and left you'd never know they were even here. I would recommend them before anyone else. A+++++ across the board. Ps: Will, who works with Misael, even liked our yappy annoying dog. :)

Excellent work. I had a number of different clean/repair tasks and all were completed to satisfaction. Communication was outstanding and work was done on time, as promised. The initial estimate provided was very detailed, outlining exactly what would be done. CFI was not the cheapest estimate I received, but the detailed estimate gave me good confidence nothing was left out and the work would be dome to my specs.  I am now going to use CFI for a more extensive bathroom remodeling project.

This was a large job that required days of sanding and partial disassembly of the ornate deck. The CFI team did an amazing job. They were diligent, careful, and meticulous in their work. The final result is a beautiful and natural wood deck. I would highly recommend them!

He and his associate were prompt with service, responsible, and trustworthy.  The full bathroom renovation took 2 weeks, and the result was just outstanding.  I would use this contractor again and recommend him to others as well.

They did what they said in the timeframe they said. He communicated with me regularly. I was impressed with his work and constant communication. Work was neat and professionally done. I would definitely use them again for other projects.

Misael and his crew did a very good job--he was very careful to get the beams level and square.  Some of the beams were below the level of the ground, so when he added the top beam to these areas, he beveled the corners, so it looks very nice.  On his own, when he rebuilt the landing, he cut  a small exit to the back garden, which improves access to the stairway.  Good idea. 

What I also like are his communication skills.  He communicates efficiently by email--when he can come, if something comes up, and responds promptly to questions.  You are not left wondering if workers will show up or not!  His price was reasonable for the job.

Mussel was prompt, professional, and did a very nice job. He even sent me photos of the damaged wood that needed to be replaced.

They were very careful inside my home when caulking and painting.  They scraped, sanded and painted everything.  They cleaned up all the work areas.  I was very pleased with the professional work and quick responses.
I will definitely refer others to them and will use them again myself.

Arrived on time discussed all work needed as well as letting me know ahead of time that there could be hidden damage below floor.  After removing damaged subfloor, he uncovered a damaged beam and advised me of steps needed to fix the problem.  The additional work resulted in additional time needed to correct the problem.  He was very good about staying and finishing all work before leaving. Baseboards needed to be replaced due to water damaged wood which caused the moulding to pull from wall,  Discussed options and provided my wife and I an option we did not think about.  after work was completed wife was very pleased with the changes as they added more balance to the rooms.  I have an older house which will need future modifications and enhancements and plan to have them come back for these projects as well
