SSCR Carpentry

I'm a retired home remodeling contractor who had to stop working after my heart surgery four years ago. Since my surgery, I've been looking unsuccessfully for a reliable and skilled contractor to do some needed repairs on my home. I contracted with SSCR Carpentry to install a new picture window, steel entry door, and screen door for my house. Scott and Toby did a fantastic job! They were on time, professional, and do quality work! While that might seem like a gimmie to some people, trust me, here in Northeastern Pennsylvania - that combination is very hard to find. I highly recommend them for any remodeling needs that you might have. One last point of fact, is their level of customer service. My storm door was delivered boxed and sealed, but hinged on the wrong side and without hardware. Not only did they help me box it back up for pick-up, they immediately rescheduled a return visit to install the corrected storm door when it arrives! Five stars and a round of applause !

If I could give Scott and his team (Toby and Josh) 10 stars-I would! Out of all the contractors spoken to Scott was the most reliable and professional. Which is why we chose SSCR Carpentry. They took down an eye sore of a chimney and in place built a doghouse for our pellet stove. These guys are genuine people. My husband and I will definitely be using this company again for future home improvements!

Scott and his team were great. My HOA was very annoying about the necessary work I was having done on my rotting deck posts and Scott was very kind and professional about the whole thing. Honesty , integrity and professionalism are all attributes of Scott and his team. They spent a lot of time at our home while doing a project that grew over time as issues came up and were dealt with accordingly. To say weâ re pleased with the result is an understatement and weâ re are now on board for two more projects over the next months . Scottâ s guys came early and worked late to make construction as painless as possible and their work ethic was exemplary. I highly recommend the SSCR team for any kind of work, big or small.

I contacted Scott for deck repairs and staining of a very neglected pool deck. They did a great job pouring new footers and restructuring the deck. Looks like it's brand new! The team took pride in every detail.
