Of the other two companies, Total Construction had the best estimate and the people were so nice. I'm so glad they came out to do the work. Each day they cleaned up behind themselves and made it easy for my family to live in the home even though the work was being done. Everything looks so nice now. "Jeff came out to discuss the job with me. He was on time and talked with me about my color choices and types of paint and approximate cost for everything. He didn't balk at my bold color choices. I had a good feeling about working with Jeff. Jeff and his crew are very busy so it took a few weeks to get everything scheduled, but when the day came they were right on time and did a great job. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves too. The guys were very friendly and (important to me) they liked/tolerated my dog. Other than a few holes, though, the process of mounting the TV should not cause significant damage to the wall, unless you make an error and miss the wall stud, tearing out drywall. Should you decide to remove the mount later, the DIY drywall repair cost for a small hole usually is $10 to $30. It’s a repair you can do in a few minutes.

If the water damage is small, such as small patches, you can paint over the area. To prevent mold growth, roll on a coat of an antifungal primer beforehand painting. However, if the damage is more extensive, you may have mold, and the plaster will be compromised. You’ll have to replace the plasterboard.
