Fermin and his crew painted the top two floors of the house. Fermin was very flexible and clear when providing the quote, punctual when the work started, and the job was done carefully and skillfully. I would definitely hire Fermin's crew again.

Fermin and his team were very responsive and did great work. We had our full interior and our front exterior repainted, and separately had to repair some interior damage from a leaky pipe, and they did a great job on all counts.

We are very pleased. The job entailed painting three stories of exterior woodwork, including a cornice at the roof-line, and repairing/replacing damaged sills. Highly recommended.

These guys did an excellent job and I'd rehire them in a heartbeat. Fermin Ortiz is the owner and is very friendly and conscientious. He was on the job everyday with 2-4 of his crew. The job required just over 3 weeks to complete our 2800 sq ft townhouse. This included painting the indoor garage (including the floor), painting the outside portico over our front porch, and some concrete near our basement steps. Job required repair and patch of nail pops, repair larger holes in drywall, repair old joint tape. Two coats of paint and primer when required. Showed up every morning at 8:00 and worked until 4:30. Part of the higher price was due to my requirement to remove all light fixtures, switch covers, receptacle covers, smoke detectors, and door hardware before painting. Everyday they covered our furniture with plastic sheeting to help keep it clean, then cleaned up/vacuumed the floors, and even moved all furniture themselves as they moved around the rooms. They also worked 6 days a week when requested to get job done on time. I have hired too many contractors in the DMV area that didn't do a good job. I was lucky to find these guys. I highly recommend this company.

We purchased a mid-century farm house and nearly every room had cracks on the plaster walls and ceilings. As well as wallpaper throughout the kitchen and all the bathrooms. Naturally, our family did not have the expertise or time to address all the cosmetic fixes in the house therefore, we decided to recruit professional painters. We had multiple general contractors and painters visit the house to review the work needed to repair the walls, ceilings, kitchen, baths, patio and shed, but none of these businessmen were as thorough and articulate as Mr. Fermin Ortiz owner of “International Painting LLC.” Fermin spent almost three hours walking through the house and property. Taking detailed notes of all the discrepancies we wanted mended and all the while explaining how fix each defect. We were simply surprised of Fermin’s willingness to share the trade techniques to us and we were greatly appreciative that he clarify each method of repair to the plaster, ceiling, wallpaper and removing the lead off the patio and shed. Based on Fermin’s knowledge and honesty. We decided to engage him over the other contractors who had submitted proposals for the project. Once the job was underway, it was apparent that Fermin and his staff are artisans with a fondness of detail. They spent a week and a half merely preparing all the surfaces ready to paint. Sanding, steaming and sealing cracks seemed an eternity, but the time was well spent. The house is a new home with a fresh coat of paint. Gone are the cracks, wallpaper and glue, lead. Mr. Fermin Ortiz is a craftsman. Should you require his expertise? Be assured that he and his staff will do their utmost to deliver the best product for you. And above all their workmanship is unrivalled by any other contractor in our area.

Fabulous!! I moved in a few days ago and every night I say a thank you to Fermin. Painting my new condo made the biggest and best improvement in my renovation. His price was the best of my 4 estimates and I liked him the best. He started early and was done a day early too. So Clean!!

Excellent. Outstanding. Exceeded all expectations. Mr. Ortiz and his crew were true professionals. He provided an accurate estimate in a very short time frame. He and his staff always showed up on time or a little early (which was very much appreciated). The work was done ahead of schedule and at a very reasonable price. They only used the highest quality paints (to include matching the colors we had decided on even though it was a different brand) and painstakingly prepared the walls before the first coat was applied. They prepared the rooms by positioning furniture, pictures, window treatmeants so they would be out of the way and then covered everything with protective sheets. They covered the floors with protective paper, were very efficient and quiet...we hardly noticed they were there. When they were finished with an area - everything was put back exactly as it was and they cleaned up everything. They even gave a discount because I was an Angie's List member. Overall a truly great experience and the house looks completely amazing. I couldn't ask for more. If I had to paint my house again (which I probaby won't need to for decades since they did such a great job) I would definitely hire them again...and recommend them to anyone needing a professional painter.

With Mr. Ortiz and his crew you get both a high quality work and excellent price. We had a water damage in our kitchen's walls and ceiling and replaced some rotten wood. After 4 days of hard work our kitchen looks a lot better that before.

A friend of mine recommended me this company. he had some work done at his house and he was very happy with the work they have done at his place. So i took my chances with this company. And i can't be more happier on how things turned out. they did a fantastic job they were always on time and cleaned everyday. The price was reasonable considering the amount of work that was done. The entire experience was flawless from getting the estimate to completing the work. The estimate was within 15% of the least expensive, but we knew the quality of the work to be fabulous from earlier experience with this team. They started work within a few days of signing the contract. The work was completed on time, the crew was very respectful of our property and cleaned up each day. Not only did they repair the ceiling, they took care of settling cracks, nail pops, holes from picture hangers; primed; and applied two coats of paint on the walls and ceiling. They reviewed progress at the end of each day and told us what to expect the next day. The team were true professionals and their work is meticulous.

Fermin was very courteous and professional since the moment that he came for the estimate. It is clear that he has a lot of knowledge on the matter and he took his time on explaining the differences in the product's brands and finishes. He and his team could not be better at what they do. Painters were timely everyday, professional and competent. This was the best constructor experience that I've had. They were very meticulous on prep, every area where they worked was plastic sealed and spotless at the end of the day every day. I was a little concerned about my Brazilian wooden floors that were installed about a month before the project started. I was in shock to see how careful they were at protecting it. This is a company you can trust. I wouldn't doubt to call them again for future projects.
