"It went very well. The job was done with professionalism, in a timely manner and with expertise. John was easy to work with, delivered the item exactly as I requested. I would definitely hire John again."
"The entire trim had to be removed and replaced. While this sounds simple the workers had to install a roof jack type scaffold due to the angle of the roof. The trim was removed, replaced, sealed and painted. The workers were very thorough and cleaned up as if they were never there. "
"The services that were provided were to our satisfaction! All projects were also complete in a timely manner we also were please with the quality of the work that was done! We will definitely be reaching out to them in the near future!"

"While they did a great job with the remodel of our previous home, they did a superb job with our new home. We are very picky and wanted some very custom features like custom made cabinetry, travertine tile, huge outdoor living space, and many other features. Ray Hubbard worked with us for nearly 6 months getting all the finishes just the way we wanted them, and spent endless hours I am sure with all the numbers. Our beautiful home will be where we retire and we could not be more happy about it. A few minor mistakes were made along the way, but considering a project of this size it was very understandable. We informed Ray of the few items we thought were mistakes and he quickly handled the problem and did so to our satisfaction. I would like to say we would use him again, but he all ready gave us our dream home. All joking aside, of course we would call on Ray and Legacy if we ever need a great contractor. "
"Matt did an incredible job on several projects getting our home ready to sell. From top to bottom, inside and out he tackle each job professionally. Added a large double chimney cap, pressure washed the house/porch and stained the two story deck, repaired plumbing leak, sealed basement walls with dry-lock, painted interior rooms. Trimmed trees, shrubs, blew leaves, mowed and groomed flower beds. Matt made several suggestions to minimize our costs, and optimize our schedule to get the house ready for sale. The Realtor was also very impressed with the work completed."
"This project involved the demolition, redesign and rebuilding of our basement. This included a multipurpose room and bathroom. Thomas was the low bidder for the project by several thousand dollars. The project began as scheduled but demo and framing took longer than scheduled. Our completion date was moved back several time throughout the project, though that wasn't a big deal. There were times during the project when Thomas was difficult to get in touch with and he was routinely an hour or more late for his scheduled appointments. I need to add that Thomas is a contractor not a handyman and relies on sub contractors and individuals for all the work. Overall they did a good job, some were messy and didn't attempt to clean up their mess. At times I was asked to come up with a solution to a design problem when I expected his team of professionals to offer suggestions for me to choose from. In total fairness I feel my experience was good but not excellent. Thomas is a nice guy and flexible during all phases of the project. His sub contractors where honest and hard working, we got along well with all of them. If I had to do it all over again I'd probably study up and try to be my own contractor, assuming I had the time."
"I had contact with three contractors for my project. Marshall was the most engaging, responsive, and his pricing was consistent with others.
Mr. Marshall is open to your ideas and plans and with so many years of experience, he is willing to provide you with options to enhance your project and even present ideas on how to reduce project costs.
Contact is constant; you can always reach him by phone with questions or concerns.
Marshall Carpentry has an old school mentality where word is bond and a handshake goes a long way. He is a straight shooter and does not always tell you what you want to hear but you will get what you need to get the job done."
The ideal temperature for your garage in the winter is between 40 and 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Maintaining a minimum temperature of at least 40 to 50 degrees is crucial to prevent pipes, liquids, and other items from freezing. Low temperatures can also drain your car battery, so keeping the garage stable is vital for your vehicle. While the lower end of the range protects your belongings, the higher end is based on your personal preference for a comfortable space. If you struggle to keep the temperature from dropping below 40 degrees, consider installing a garage heater.
As with anything you buy, be wary of prices that seem too good to be true. Some low-cost flooring products can contain chemicals that release harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in the form of fumes that can be inhaled or dust that can cause skin conditions.
Even good-quality products can be dangerous for DIY-ers who don’t take proper precautions. Always carefully read manufacturer instructions and wear the recommended protective gear when working with paints and other chemicals. You can also hire a local garage flooring pro with the experience and equipment needed to perform the installation safely with no lingering fumes or debris.
If you have a garage heater that is 1,500 watts or more, it will need its own breaker. As a good rule of thumb, no appliance should exceed 1,500 watts per outlet for best outcomes. Consult a local garage heating service to determine the power needs for your outdoor or indoor space.
The style of the garage door that's best for you depends more on your needs. Are you driving in and out of the garage daily, or are you just storing tools and holiday decor there? For regular use, you'll want a door that is easy to operate and durable. If you only wish to use the garage for storage, go for a less expensive style or one that maximizes curb appeal over functionality.
You’ll find many of the options we listed at big-box home improvement retailers and department stores, as well as smaller independent floor specialists in your area. Many of these stores offer full-service installation of the products they sell, and others may offer to refer you to a trusted partner for installation.
You can also shop for these products online. We recommend shopping around to compare prices, service offerings, and reviews from previous customers to help make a more informed final decision.
