They did an amazing job rebuilding it. It looks better than it ever did. Also they helped me deal with the insurance company which saved me a major headache. "A+ from start to finish. I have a newer build that is just over 4 years old and the deck had untreated wood used that rotted out an 8x8 support post and several of the joists. Clarence, the owner quickly responded and was out the following day to take a look at the project. He was very kind and honest and said he would have an estimate within 2 days. He had his deck builder out the next day, the estimate (very reasonable) the following day and said they could start the project the same week. You quickly learn in the OBX that getting an estimate for a project this time of year is a lengthy process let alone getting the work scheduled. I reached out to 4 vendors (including Gibbs), and 2 never responded and one was way over-priced. If the project isn't large enough, the not so great contractors will lie and tell you they'll get you an estimate and never respond. THANK YOU to Gibbs Daughters and Clarence for delivering a new beautiful deck with a very reasonable price and fabulous service. Watching your craftsmen work as they did was very cool. They are quite skilled and great at their trade. I will now only reach out to you for any work that is needed on my home. Thank you so very much!"

"All the above responses were excellent and the job was done well and quickly. Been trying to do this job myself for near a decade and finally accepted the fact that I needed help. Joe Marshall at Prime Time Custom Homes, LLC called me the same day and offered his services. I accepted his free estimate and he assembled and arranged the materials delivery and craftsmen the same week. The efficiency of the crew finished the job in less than five hours. They did good work. Started at 8:30am and finished by 1:00 pm.. The job was a 26’ by 8’ deck roof , shingles and enclosed beaded plywood underneath so as to hide nails and rafters. All I have to do is trim, stain and paint to myself and the wife's liking. So pleased to know that this level of quality work is obtainable in these times. Thank you Joe Marshall."

"This husband and wife team is first rate. We had a banking issue at the start of our project. They could have easily said it wasn't their responsibility to help me retrieve the money, but they didn't. They created a loyal customer as a result. And the work quality was second to none. I got quotes from two other providers but theirs was the best in terms of scope definition and price. The only thing I would like to see is more responsive comms, but I also understand how hard it is to balance "front office" work with the project work for a small business. And David works 7 days a week. If he makes a project commitment, he keeps it. They are delightful people who I am looking forward to working with again."

"I would highly recommend this business.  We had them come and restain the deck and at first just powerwash the house.  They scheduled the work right away.  After doing the pressure washing, there were some areas with paint chips under the soffit.  Mike offered to repaint those for free.  During this, they noticed areas of the soffit that were rotten, so we had them repair those areas of the wood.  They also fixed a few screens that were damaged during the pressure washing for free.  
Everything turned out great, and we are very happy we had this work done.  Mike and Crystal are very professional and easy to work with.  I will be having them do some more work on our house in the near future.
